Hi everybody!!! How are u doin'?

I joined today this forum as I knew yesterday that Damien is coming to Italy and i am looking for info about it...
oh yes, I'm from Italy, and i'm listening to damien since long time... I think he's the most special singer i've ever known.... he's a poet to me!! His songs have been the soundtrack of my happiest and most sad moments.... so....
I really hope i will go to see him, it will be the biggest present i've ever received!!

Hope to know much more about him talking with u all!!

Yea i got my ticket!!!! i'm so happy about it!! I'm already figuring out that moment and....wow...i think it'll be one of the best emotions of my life..

I live in the center of Italy, on the east coast...the city is called Ancona (maybe u can find it in google map!hihi) and it's like 250km from Rome. Actually i've been many times in rome but...believe it's always worth to visit it!! And u know what? I'm thinking to do a good trip in march maybe and i was just thinking to ireland cause i've never been there...i read you're from ireland...what would u suggest me?

and for the cold i don't think it'll be a problem..i've been living for one year in denmark and i survived (obviously with a lot of beer!!) hihi

Have you seen Damien before?

I seen him in 2003 at a fesival he was brillant...i didnt know him before that. I was waiting to see coldplay..he was on before them.

No this will be my first time. I'm so excited about it!! i already figure out the moment....i think i will cry at each song and i will sing all the time......oh my!!!

i knew him like in 2003 thanks to a friend of mine and since then i haven't left him anymore!! his music seems to talk about many moments of my life and maybe it's because of this that i feel it so mine....

Hi just going to answer both of the treads in this one....

..i'd love to see him again..but he doesnt do any concerts in ireland... only fesitivals and ones that are not really advertised like in some bar in dublin...i dont think he realises how big he really is in ireland..

.well it sounds like you'll be quite overwhemled when you see him..

.i hope you dont faint and miss the whole show..

....dont forget your raincoat when you come here..

oh! here it's strangely very hot in these days....during the day it's like 18/19°C...and generally here where i am there's a lot of snow in this period!! who knows?? hehe

i read about some uk tour dates....maybe u can join him there! i hope it for u!!
but it's strange that he thinks not to have fans in his home country... is he? in italy he's not that known but the concert is sold out!! (officially today!! but the place has 1580 seats only...)

Oh i've just read theres a good chance he might add a irish concert to his tour...

uhm....my favourite damo's song? this is so difficult question....i knew him with "0" and i can say that i "lived" that album...all the songs are bound to some big emotions (not all good but...), to situations, persons.... so i would say the entire album for my personal reasons...hehe
9 is still new to have such an effect on me....

well if i have to choose i would say cannonball (album version not radio edit!), delicate, amie, rootless tree, accidental babies, and i'm falling in love with coconut skins...

uhm...consider also that i'm never decided on anything and to choose is always hard for me....so this has been very hard choice
