Kind of new. Saw Damien for the first time in June, went out got the album and I am in love. I also got to see him at a really intimate show last week. Not too many posts on Damien's sites. I know he has more fans than this.

Hi my name is scott, i just recently got into damien but i am totally hooked. i am also from boston, i hope there are more than 2 fans in boston or else the show at paradise in september wont be so good

does anyone know why there isnt much out there on lisa hannigan, she is amazing and i would like to find out more about her.

Btw, I noticed at the Paradise ticket page that they removed the 'cabaret seating" that they hadoriginally announced. I guess that meant tables and chairs, which the Paradise is set up to do. I take it they are anticipating that they'll sell 500 tickets instead of 300.

I'll be there with one or two friends(hopefully!) I'm gonna catch the Stereophonics there the followin week too(just before I fly home!). I don't like any of their new stuff but maybe they'll play some oldies, Idoubt it though

....... Its amazing that they can headline a concert in Ireland for 80,000 fans and play to around 500 over here!

Thanks, Angela. I'm bringing a couple of friends to the show as well, I cant wait, I've never seen him live and I hear its an amazing show. What other bands are you into? I'm checking out dashboard the weekend before damiens show, cant wait for that show.

I'm hooked on the Irish: the Frames, the Ricer, The Prayer Boat, Mark Geary, Damien Dempsey.

Also a big fan of Augie March from Australia who will soon play in ... eh, Dublin! [img]smileys/smiley19.gif[/img]

You will not be disappointed with Damien! (Other than the fact that Lisa will be busy elsewhere.) I saw him solo last time - I'm all excited to see him with the band!

If your hooked on the irish your living in the right town!! I havent heard of any of those bands lol, and you said that lisa is busy elsewhere, shes not going to be performing? If so i'm definetly dissapointed. i was really looking forward to seeing her. but it will still be a great show.

and to answer your question fred, yes its dashboard confessional, i'm seeing them in Lowell Ma. at the tsongas arena. where are they playing the weekend before damiens show? if you havent seen chris perform yet its amazing, i caught the free show at the hatchshell in boston and it was wonderful.
