So i took a stab at the lyrics to never go down from dave's recording and this is the best i could come up with. I am in no way claiming that these are right, in fact some of what i have doesnt really make sense, so feel free to edit.
shes doesn't touch any fool across to nothing i remember, i remember why i was still lost took all the hate and the river groaned and i pushed your name and i torched the lane and i called around weak and all the waters fall and i undid your hair and i found myself lying there and i look around and i thought i saw her take it off and i pulled the air force down i told you i would myself would be there i want your love again yeahh and then you came home and heard what you say i would never go down, never go down, never go down... Also, does anyone have a different recording of what you know about love? I love the little tidbit after volcano and if theres more to it i would love to hear it. |

I'm not surprised by that
Corey, I ask that question all the time. I always get the same answer you got.
I once asked "Does taping help me out in any way?" It then spoke words to me, "No you are just a dork, stop asking me this crap and find something better to do with your life!" Quote:

Nice try Abum!!! It's really hard to transcribe. Funny the only 2 sentences I am confident about, are different from yours
I hear 'old photograph' instead of 'air force down' and I also hear 'I opened her hand' instead of 'I undid her hair' |

also, some people have said that this is played over the MMY&I music. I disagree, the music to never go down is quite different. It sounds similar because its played with similar chords and in the same key(I dont really know music theory i could be wrong), but it has a much different feel to it than MMY&I in my opinion. |

FYI - I have received a few e-mails asking if the final product will be split / indexed by track / intro's like the December show. The answer is yes. I'll take great care that the tracking makes sense.
Some other notes: a.) Began mastering today. b.) The scratch sound you might be hearing in a couple of places on MMY&I and a few other songs are not on the original recording. They are a result of my increasing the volume in the mp3's for you and going beyond the threshold for a split second. They won't be in the final mix. c.) I am a truly crappy guitarist, but I was able to teach myself Coconut Skins today. There is hope for anyone to be a musician! d.) Lin - you almost had me blushing with that "Eskimo of the month" suggestion. I fell short when I started asking myself if it required me to be cold for a month ;-) dave |

Hey all,
Just needed to take a much needed break from day work. About 40% done with the work (I just started 2 days ago). I limited some claps because of the idiot you guys can probably hear to my left. Even though I didn't get to kick him over the balcony that night, I actually get a second chance in the master. So far, he's barely holding on with one leg. If you need a sample, just PM me. I just like to see that you've been an Eskimo Friend for a while and make it clear on not distributing it. If you have a good amount of posts already, I'll just forward the information along. If you don't, I generally like to ask a few questions. dave |

I'm just listening to the show - again! - and there's something that keeps on striking me: Is that Damien whistling before "9 Crimes"? It just seems so random...
