That's brilliant! If you want, you can upload it online somewhere too so you don't have to e-mail everyone individually.

www.sendspace.com works - or one of the 4shared folders that are always floating around here.

Can't wait to hear it!

I'd like a copy too, if you wouldn't mind. Thanks. Did you tape the whole show?

He's got his head shaved again, and I'll be glad if that doesn't find its way on any of his next albums

Shaved head....Really? It was quite shaggy in Boston. Guess NYC drove him to pull a Britney....lol. So anymore reviews? Length of show? Setlist? Stories? Bueller????

Default Doh!

thanks....I guess I didn't hit the Refresh button!
Seems like Damien played forever in NYC and gave Boston 80 measly minutes of music

Wow, totally amazing how he did all that on the spot. Anyone happen to remember the chords that were suggested from the audience? I wouldn't be surprised if this song showed up somewhere on the new album or so...

I'm confused. Is this is a pre-written song? Is it completely improvised? Lyrics sang on the spot? Blah

Damien led us to believe that the lyrics and the melody were made up according to the suggestions given by the crowd. Believe what you will. It did seem like the two chords thrown out do not work together too well, so he and Vyv needed to go back and forth a bit at the beginning to find something they were comfortable with.

He did the same in Louisville and sang the tune Happy Ass - it was very funny although nowhere near as long as last night and it didn't take his usual turn toward darkness........

my theory is that they are songs that he's still working on. he's played this game with the audience before where he asks them to give him a color, an emotion and a body part (or in this case a name) and from what i've heard the songs are too developed to be totally improvised. he incorporates the audience suggestions but the bare bones of the song (melody and/or lyrics) seem to already be there.. to me this one sounds like the lyrics may have been somewhat written but they were improvising the melody, though i'm having a hard time making out the lyrics too..

Really apologise for these bad transcribe of the lyrics, I'm working off the youtube one.

Italics = guess work

Might be the last time
Might be the first
Might be the last time that we give to the world
And you ask me
What do we do?
Picking up anyway, only for you

no idea
The weekend is all ours
Your pulling my heart
And I sleep back under stars

And I said No
I know I've seen many places
I said I cannot go
Caus' I wash away faces

I no idea
Everyday for me is real
I don't do know what to do
Are you no idea
Caus' I'm hungry
Caus' I'm helpful
Caus' I'm *sound barriers on my computer break*

Later when I'm on could someone send me a link to get the sound recording and I'll try and rearrange it/ fill in the blanks

i transcribed the lyrics as best as i can hear them and from what i remembered at the show.

might be the last time
might be the .....
might be the last time
that we get to .......

and she asks me
what do we do
thinking of......
for you

joe whispers my name
and he says to go on
joe pulls on my hand
and asks me if i can understand.

i said no because ive been green
i know ive seen many places
i said i ........
cause ive lost to many faces
and he says
i dont know how you feel
cause everyday for me is real
i dont know what you do
i ....am stumbling through??.......
cause im happy
cause im happy
im happy

...........
with more hair on my head
and lots of .....
and i took out a razor blader
and i shaved it away
.................................
and it crossed my mind
.............................
and it crossed my head
..............................
and i see joe in the distance
and he whispers out to me
he says oh youve gone to distant now
youve just just to let me be happy
and i said

oh i dont know
i dont know how you feel
i dont know what it means
to be here to be real
and ive tried all my life
to be whole just like you
and im scared? im not sad?
i dont know what you do
cause he's happy
unlike you
cause he's happy
unlike you
........
........
........
........

in the distance
joe calls my name
he says my child
dont be afraid
i said where did you come from
he whispers in my ear
............................
not from up here....
where did brother? go
in the light.........
.......................
.......................
where their happy
ohhh
yes their happy
ohhh
they are happy
ohhh
they are happy
ohhh
unlike you
unlike you
unlike you
unlike you
