Yay Emmett!!! The new 'gloo is awesome!!! You da man!!! (but I did kind of panic when the old site didn't boot right away, and then started thinking "Will everything be different at our new igloo?" ) No worries! Same old friendly faces and familiar user interface! Thank you so much for everything you do, Emmett! (and thanks to Ade and the rest of the Adams family for putting us up!) Gosh, I'm actually so relieved! Kind of funny, but don't know what I would do without this place now.....

ah that explains it all then! the problems you were having accessing bellx1.com aswell.. it sounds like you're web browser (Internet Explorer) has been hijacked.
This program will get rid of some of the more well known Home page Hijackers. CoolWebShredder fixes: · Redirections to CoolWebSearch related pages · Redirections when mistyping URLs · Redirections when visiting Google · Enormous IE slowdowns when typing · IE start page/search page changing on reboot · Sites in the IE Trusted Zone you didn't add · Popups in Google and Yahoo when searching · Errors at startup mentioning WIN.INI or IEDLL.EXE · Unable to change or see certain items in IE Options · Unable to access IE Options at all http://xoomer.virgilio.it/cico_d/prog/CWShredder.exe ftp://ftp.freenet.de/pub/filepilot/w...urity/CWShredd er_1570.exe (posted two links, incase one doesnt work for you) You should also try and run Hijack This, another great cleanup utility http://tools.radiosplace.com/HijackThis.exe and you should DEFINITELY run Ad-Aware. It will clear up a lot of nagging malware and cookie problems and suspicious startup programs. http://isheo.ru-se.com/sas/antivirus...6.Pro.Built.18 1.exe When you install Ad-Aware be sure to click on 'Check For Updates' before doing a full scan of your system. These programs are very small so its not going to take you all night to download them. Be sure to give your computer a reboot then after you've run all those programs to make sure everything is okay. Probably no harm to clear out your 'Temporary Internet Files' folder aswell.. click on Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Delete Files and tick 'Delete All Offline content' and clean the Internet History too. Spybot http://www.safer-networking.org/ Download http://spybot.safer-networking.de/in...ng=en&page=dow nload AdAware http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ Spycop: http://www.spycop.com/ General and overall information about Spy/Adware http://www.cexx.org/adware.htm -Brendan.

nope, they are all free utilites and all those links work 'cos I checked them before I posted them.
The main two programs to run are: CoolWebSchredder http://xoomer.virgilio.it/cico_d/prog/CWShredder.exe and Hijack This http://tools.radiosplace.com/HijackThis.exe but I would recommend getting Ad-Aware too if you have the time. A couple of weeks ago I had a call-out where it took a combination of all three of these programs to get the particular PC sorted out.

the CoolWebSearch will sort out the exact problem that you seem to be having.
When you're using the Hijack This program you just need to put a 'tick box' on any of the items that mention 'coolwebsearch' or any other dodgy search pages that have been appearing lately - and then click on "Fix Checked" It will look something like this... and give the PC a reboot then when you finished and your internet access should be much improved. Ok, this really helps me too, because I've been having the same problems as Sionna at times. And I was wondering why nobody was mentioning the igloo freezing up again But thanks for the tips, people, I hope that will solve my problems too ( well at least my problems with getting into eskimofriends at times, not all my problems, but that would be great though if you could just download a computer program and poof, all you're problems were solved... no? just a thought )

i can really recommend you to use ad-aware in combination with spywareblaster (get itand read a review of it here). it's like a spyware-'firewall', that prevents spyware to be installed in the first place. according to experts this is the most effective of this sort that are available for free. btw, be careful to dl AD-aware, NOT ADA-ware - the latter is also a spyware removal tool, BUT it adds it's own spyware, grr grr about hijack this: some danish computer experts say that you should use ad-awarefirst, and only if that doesnt remove the problem, you can try to use "hijack this" . i think this is because it is rather difficoult to use for ppl who dont know much about what files to remove, so if you know what you're doing i guess it's no problem
