Sad to see it taking so long to get back to Mario. Mario, you did an amazing thing for the fan community by doing this, and it sucks that people aren't being courteous enough to reply to you about its status, especially since hard drives are not cheap.

A lot of the credit goes to Richard for doing the work to create the archive. When he sent it back to me, all I had to do was organize the list and mail it out.

I am sooooo sorry everyone. Long story short, I got the opportunity to move to France about a month ago and leave tomorrow. I have been so incredibly busy packing, selling my car, quitting my job, etc, etc, that I just totally forgot the about hard drive. I know this is a really stupid excuse, but I didn't even realize I still had it until I was packing the last of my stuff and saw it. Anyway, I mailed it out today. Again, I profusely apologize. I'm so sorry for the delay.

what's the story? did the hard drive ever show up? it's been almost two months since it was supposedly mailed out to the last person on the north american vine.

On 9/6, I was told it had arrived in Calgary.

I still don't have it back.

well, that's good news..

it's ridiculous how long this vine has taken, though. i've started plenty of vines on here and people were much more timely (and considerate) in the past.

are you sure it didn´t leave calgary? anyway... i hope you get it back right the way. i wasn´t part of the vine, so i can´t send you a new one (at least, you could get all the files back). i´m really sorry, you were nothing but a very generous eskimo friend.

So I've been in touch with the police in Calgary. We are now in the process of filing a formal criminal complaint for theft of the hard drive.

Sgt Rob Anderson, Badge #3421 has been very helpful.

I feel really badly that this has happened as you were nothing but kind and extremely generous to get this going. Is it stuck at Handmaid then? Does anyone on here know her? I hope that you get it back soon Mario.

really sorry this has happened, the last part of the US vine has been a disaster, first Lauren having it for months and months and then this. Tbh I've never ever heard of this HandMaid person but just seen she's got 11 posts, thought we had an agreement about not including strangers/people no one knows on vines???

i met alison (handmaid) two years ago. she came to argentina to see damien at la trastienda... and i can give my word she is a lovely person. i have no idea what may have happened, but i´m sure there´s an explanation... i´m not saying it´s a fair one though... and this just makes me sad.

Hey E-Friends,

I was never part of the vine in the US, but how large was it? I might have a decent sized USB drive enclosure that could hold some material and may be able to travel. I know that doesn't sold the original problem, but maybe different auditing might be possible this time around? Thoughts?
