Just found this one:

Though I'm not quite sure if it really is the patchwork shirt or just a patchwork shirt cause it looks quite different... still adorable though.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Will this not die?

That looks like an old pic, before the shirt had been through the washer a few times. I hope the washing machine eats it one day! Grown men should not dress like that.

it's the same freakin shirt.
it always is. even if we fast forward to seventy five hundred years into the future and there is a "new" picture of him wearing the patchwork shirt, rest assured, it's the same shirt.
it lives. it breathes. it has a strangely benevolent nature. all the charity work is a direct result of that shirt and it's roots, literally, to the earth.

i fear it may becoming threadbare lately but rest assured, he'll still wear it. it smells faintly of patchouli, nag champa, weed and laughter.
oh, i can just picture the adverts now.

" Rice, by Damien Rice. Embrace the patchwork of life, embrace the scent. embrace the hippy potential in us all."

hee heee

ah the shirt's immortal, even lisa's satanic glare is no match for the power of patchwork

promo pic for the release of 9

I asked Damien about the patchwork shirt after the San Diego gig and he says it's in his suitcase on the bus. He also remarked about how it's been awhile since he's worn it, so maybe it will make another infamous appearance soon.

that shirt will end up in a musuem some day, long after we're all dead and gone, "clothes of the early 21 century"

Okay, so I was reading this thread and thinking "God, how can all of these people be so wrong?" and then I went to grab lunch when I saw this in the window of a shop in one of our main shopping districts.

Patchwork pants and tops and jackets and and and it's not even cheap! Maybe Damien did get to design his own line. I give up...

It was very sweet of them and I told Damien that it matched his shirt. He then held it next to his green shirt and tried to compare but then I was like "The patchwork shirt." He looked up and laughed and said "Oh yes, the patchwork shirt. It's still hanging up there somewhere." He was referring to the tour bus at this point. You can barely make it out in the picture above but he’s definitely holding it in his left hand. Look closer. Peace.
