this is what i hate. you guys get the good artists along with all kinds of great shows at places like Vicar Street and Slane Castle. and here in Texas we get nothing but Clear Channels Subtle conquest of the US. What I would give to be at Damein Rice show at Vicar Street, just once. You people are lucky.

ah didnt realise how lucky we were till now! maybe travelling from here to dublin isnt so bad after all! thats really bad is he not playng any gigs over there no??

yea somewhat, not totally what the festival stands for but, yes. slane castlei have know about for a long time. i am a huge u2 fan but knew of it before the DVD. i live in texas and you guys get all my style/genre of music i really really like- damien rice, u2, david gray, etc... my only lifeline to the live music from these guys is the downloadable concerts from torrent and FTP services. i need to find the vicar street gig.

I actually feel kinda better now-i was bummed about going to dublin from Newry-but now it doesnt seem so bad. Plus, i'v never been to Vicar St, lookin forward to it. I'v been to the village though, it's class. Is vicar St better???
