give the man some credit. he gets abused by our general media, in a time where they can manipulate public perception. yes he has made a lot of mistakes, many mistakes, but others have as well. he has gotten much more attention and our information geared world makes this more available. this has gotten worse each term since nixon. before this, the media would protect and honor the president, however, they then realized they could capitalize off of thier mistakes. do i blame them, no. but just keep those pictures in mind.

It's great when people demonize a political candidate or President. Not. It's a great way to contribute to the bipolarization and sensationalism in the media that is already helping to ruin whateverdemocratic structure was left. P.S. In no way amI sticking up for Bush; I votedfor Kerry (even though that isn't really of anyimportance.). Edited by: buzzingfridgey |

Not that it really has alot of political relevance, but one of the best quotes from Bush was when he said, "There's an old saying in Tennesee: 'fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice...(hesitation, look of worry on his face)...don't do it again.'" |

"There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again." —George W. Bush, Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 17, 2002
