Looks like Ray LaMontagne has a duet with Lisa on the new album, a song called 'O Sleep', from here:

One notable song is "O Sleep," a duet Hannigan recorded with fellow singer-songwriter and friend Ray Lamontagne.

"I had always wanted to write a proper duet," she said. "Not someone who is just doing backup vocals but people really singing to each other."

She continued, "I've known him for years. And I just think his voice is to die for. It's incredible. Then I wrote the song, I sang the bits and the harmonies and everything, and then I sent it to Ray. And then he said he would love to do the record. We had a day of overdubs in London, and Ray was in London and had a free day. So I asked him to come down and sing. And the moment he sang I knew that it would be beautiful. "

My friend loves Ray Lamontague and I love Hannigan. This is the song of our friendship. hahaha jk. perhaps I can convert my friend into an eskimo friend afterall.

also does anyone have like...some of her new songs...bootleg versions. I mean, I will be buying the cd and probably the vinyl at some point as well, but I just want to listen to some of the new songs so badly. I don't know what's coming over me but I want the album now.

It's not great quality or anything...but it is my favorite song to date. I guess I have my answer. It was amazing when I heard it for the first time. I can't wait to hear it on the album. I'm in love

yeah, the Lisa camp has been very diligent about keeping the new songs off the internet. Your best bet is to check all the time to catch the videos before they do ; )

Wow, thanks for sharing!

I love the first and the left part of the second picture, but I think she looks weird on the right half of the second picture.

The short text on Sacks & Co says the album will be out on September 20th, and in case no one has noticed so far: Lisa's site has been shut down for maintenance all day today so I guess they are preparing for the release of Passenger and therefore a new layout!

Plus, John Smith has posted a message on Lisa's facebook page saying that the John Martin tribute album will be out on August 15th.

So many good news...

Edit:
Passenger can already be preordered on amazon.com and I suppose co.uk as well!

Jeez that last photograph has been photoshopped beyond recognition. Other than that, Sept 20th sounds like good news!

Yeah, I tried it again today and it worked. Bummer, I was really hoping to get a glimpse of the new artwork.

Couldn't have said it any better, she looks old and haggard and had I found the picture randomly browsing the web I prob wouldn't have recognized her...
There really is no need at all to photoshop Lisa, she is pretty the way she is.

Well, to be fair, the other two were also photoshopped, but they seem to have been done with a lighter hand.

About the amazon pre-order, where did you find that Saskia? A quick Amazon search returned nothing...

she doesn't look like her in the last one. she's one of those women that doesn't need any make-up or photoshop to look drop-dead gorgeous, just lisa. can't wait for the next album
