I first heard Damien Rice from a friends house, when he just moved in to his apartment. I saw 'O' on the side and heard of Damien through being a fan of acoustic singer/songwriters but decided he was too commercial for my liking. But, either way I asked him to play the CD and every track was just a gem! I instantly bought the album, and never stopped it playing. Since, I have bought the DVD of him recording his album & playing on Headliners [England, Ch.4], seen him live, and tried to get hold of every piece of memorabilia I can get my mitts on!

Free CD in the Evening Standard. Man, do I love free stuff. My friend went on to buy me his whole album for my 13th birthday. I've loved him ever since.
