Alright, I know I asked this a few months ago, but now that it's closer to the date, who's going to bonnaroo? I'll be there. Yep, I'll be therewith bells on! Any other eskimos?...Damo's playin' saturday from 5:30 - 7:00. Not a bad time slot, just right before prime time, just right before The Dead actually.Edited by: cneill

i'll be there too.
i got to talk to damien and lisa in st. louis before the gig about b'roo. i asked if everyone would be at the gig. they said probably only 4 of the 5. i imagine that means no vyv, but i'm not sure. regardless, this will be something amazing to see. after the b'roo gig, and all 80,000 concert goers go home and start looking for the music they heard that weekend, i think damo will grow their usa fanbase considerably. this will be a good and very deserved thing. email me if you guys want to meet up. hopefully, i'll be up front too. peace | chris cph143@hotmail.com http://db.etree.org/sliptogrey/damo |

Arggg!!. I was afraid not all of them would be there. I was REALLY hoping to see the full band. Oh well, I'm sure it'll still be great. Maybe someone else will sit in on drums. As long as Lisa, Vyv, and of course Damo show up, I'll be all smiles. Hey, I just checked the schedule and it looks likethey've been moved up to the 7:00 - 8:30 time slot, unlessthey've always been there and I just got it wrong before. That's a great slot, should make for a nice atmosphere. I predict the sun will begin toset during...uhmmm..."eskimo" towards the endEdited by: cneill

Good luck with the camcorder. I'm afraid that might be near impossible to do. I plan on heading over to that stage a little whileafter Gov't Mule, so I'll be there a good 45 min to an hour before he starts. I'm determined to be right in front. That's cool that your dad is going to bonnaroo with ya. I'll look for a father and person (don't know your gender) with an inconspicuous camcorder , and a tall lanky guy with shaggy hair. If you see some random guy screaming "ESKIMO FRIENDS" at you don't be alarmed, it's just me. I'm fairly friendly, although I may be fairly intoxicated, not sure yet.

18) with blonde hair. if i cant bring the camera in, im for sure bringing a minidisc recorder, so look for someone with any type of recording device. i probably wont be with my dad, ill probably leave in in the middle of his steve winwood concert to get good seats to damo; he'll end up being stcuk in the back! we came up with an interesting way to locate each other tho; we'll each have a gps unit and we'll send eachother coordinates to find one another! |

I'm thinking of going...but if I do, it'll be with three people I don't know. Are all of you people who are going, all guys? I'd like to meet some fellow eskimo girls there. And could someone who's been there before tell me what it's like? Like, I know you can't shower there right?

hey all.. it's about 8:00 in the Eastern US, and i just got a phone call from my good friend at B'roo.. i got to listen to Blower's Daughter Pt. 2.. Damien sounded fantastic. also, earlier this evening during a similar phone call, i was told that damien has a full beard and his hair is as scraggley as ever!

Thanks Gina! Wish I was there..... And is it only crazed Damo fans that do this, call friends on their cell phones so they can hear snippets of the gig? It's been mentioned before but never heard of anyone other than Damien's fans doing this. We sure love that boy, don't we?

Just got back from the Roo...he was unbelievable along with Vyv(did Seven Nation Army where she included "I'm going to Bonnaroo" to end off the incredible show. I just couldn't "keep my eyes off of..." Lisa though. She was unbelievable and got to do the french part to "the proffessor". Damien and the whole band was seeming to have a great time, during a jam out he made up his own song while making fun of people in the crowd...i am sure it was an eskimo that was called out about "there is a guy with a microphone in the air....i say do what you got to do young man" I can't wait for the Live Bonnaroo to come out on the net, i hope the band give their okay to sell the whole set.

yes it was good, very good. I stuck around afterwards waiting in the marshy sand and got to meet Damien and Vyvienne. I got a picture with Vyvienne that I'll post a link to here once I get it digitized. I wanted to get a picture with the whole band, but Tomo (sp?)wasn't there, and Lisa and Shane took off right after the gig. Ireally wanted to meet Lisa. Oh well, maybe next time. Despite some reports I've read of Damien screaming at fans to shut up and so forth, he seemed like a really nice guy. He shook my hand and said "hello, nice to meet ye" as if he was just another regular guy on the street. I said thank you, he said thank you. It was a great experience. It's nice to be able to see live a musician who you really admire, and then meet him briefly. definitely a highlight of bonnaroo. O.K. enough babbling. sliptogrey: It was nice to meet you. Good luck with future recordings pnobles: Sorry I missed you. I asked a few people with mic equipment after the show if their name was Patrick, but didn't find you. I hope you were there taping because I know your recordings are always top quality. absltcit33: Sorry I missed you as well. There were lots of tall lanky people with shaggy hair and Iwasn't gonna try to scream out "ABSLSTCIT33" . I also didn't see anyone with an inconspicuous camcorder, although security was loose enough to get one in. Let us know if you got some video recording. That would be grrrreatEdited by: cneill
