Default The Animals Were Gone.

Before the part that damien's says "Woke up and for the first time, the animal were gone..." (at the begining of the song), It goes like this:

After the first F comes Em and it sounds bad, you have some other chord who will sound better?

And how I'm doing F#/G?

Thats how I play it. I hit the bass-note on the A and D string. I can record a mp3 out of it, but its gettind kind of late here in Norway now, so I will try to do it over the weekend.

I use the 021200 chord when i play "the animals..."

Im not really that sure about the F#/G, but if we're talking about how to play "I remember" its deffo 200230.

The F#/G is something else I just wanna know how to do it...

I'm not totally sure what you are getting at, do you want to know how to play F#/G ? Does it have that in a tab somewhere? If so I find in 90%+ of the cases they ACTUALLY mean G/F# which is tabbed as:

e|-3
B|-3
G|-0
D|-0
A|-x
E|-2

If you really want to play F#/G you'd have to try something along the lines of

e|-2
B|-3
G|-4
D|-4
A|-x
E|-3

(hold the F# on the lowest pitch string with your thumb).

Yep, you helpd me with the question about the G/F#...
But, I still don't know what to do in 'I remember' after the first F

Not really sure if he hammer all three notes on for the Am, or just the 'B' string (going from B to C); I have a feeling he actually varies between the two. Also at the end I have a feeling he actually plays an E, but I like the E7 there. I seem to recall he actually plays it quite differently to that, but to me it has a reasonable feel like that. Don't worry too much about the rhythm I've notated, it's quite rough (it's hard to do anything too exactly using a text editor like this!).

i remember:
a simple D minor my friends.

chorus and verses:

Am F Dm G Am E

Instrumental at the end

Am Am/C C F G F G Am E

(you can replace the first G with the Dminor if you like in that last bit.)


But Dminor is definately the chord you're after. hope that clears things up!
