I think only Irish residents can win, honestly. Some of the contests have fine print and the description of the RTE one today said:
"Unless otherwise stated, competition entrants must be over 18 years old and resident in the island of Ireland in order to qualify as the prize winner. RTÉ reserves the right to request written proof of age of any competition winner."

i saw they were airing it on rte player, from 18.30 to 22.30 (but it kept going after that). i can´t see anything on rte website now. but, to stick to your question... nope, i don´t know.

things do happen for a reason... even if i would have won, i wouldn´t have been able to go... now, there´s no sorrow, hehe.
