I'm currently in the process of making an accurate Damien tabs site.
Most of the Volcano tabs out there are almost correct, but don't inlcude the hammer-on's he does to the open strings (which make a big difference to the sound).

Of course you can - anyone can It's not like notation where you have to learn it over a period of time... once you figure out what it's saying you'll always remember it (and it's basically just a diagram of the fret anyway).

ive finnally figured it out...this realates to the undercurrents version...

E -0
B -5h6
G -5
D -7
A X
E X

repeat this a couple times then slide the same fingering down to the fingers originally on the 5th fret r on the 3rd, then slide down to where the fingers were just on the 3rd fret are on the 1st. then hammer the b string from 1h2 repeat a couple times then slide back up. this is just the intro...but a good starting point. u should plam mute it, and the strumming pattern is pretty hard to get a hold of, so listin to the undercurrents volcano version to get it down. hope this helps some of u

Not bad Pro.
He actually uses the full barre chord though rather than just 3 strings of it. The pull off is releasing the top 3 strings into open strings, and he also does a pull off/hammer on the low e.
I really need to get the time to tab the whole thing out properly.
I only have Eskimo done out fully at the moment.

You got the chorus spot on Edited by: Scon

the tab for eskimo thats on this site is spot on the tabs u both did for the undercurrents version arent doing it for me ive found my own way of doing it.

e 01 0
b 1h3p10 1 g202p0h2 d20 3
a X23 e X3 X

then instead of doing another g chord to return to the Am side the low E stringfrom F(1st fret) to B(7th fret) then back intoit.

The Eskimo tab on this site is pretty damn good, but it's missing a lot. Also, there are no hammer-on's or pull-off's as it suggests. At this stage I believe I have my tab 100% accurate to how Damien plays it on the album. I'll post it soon (I was hoping to get a few songs out at once).

ya, i always thought those hammer ons and pull offs didn't fit in the song. sounds a lil weird to me tho, i dunno if its just me or what.

In all of the online video that I've seen, he uses his thumb over the top to fret the 6th string. It isn't a full bar chord either.. usually the high b and e are open I think... not sure, but the hammers (how I remember them) were mostly on the g. He uses his thumb like this on a lot of his songs.

That's what I've noted too, though he does use a full barre in the song quite a bit. He hammers the g using his pinky first, then later hammers with his middle finger.
