Does anyone know how long the box office will be opened?
I'd rather pick up the tickets at 08:00 then at 06:00..

BOX OFFICE TIME: 6:00 pm
DOOR TIME: 7:00 pm
SHOW TIME: 9:00 pm

Is Mariam definitely playing? There's no support listed on the website.

I think Mariam left the tour for a few days. It seems she won't be supporting Damien on the Italian shows. Maybe some schedule conflict, as I see she has another gig booked somewhere else.

Anyway, looks like the Rome gig just finished. Sounds like a great show in a great (and recently improved) venue.
He played What If I'm Wrong and finished the gig with a lot of crazy fans on stage.
But I wasn't there, so let's wait for someone else to report

Too many people waiting outside for an aftershow, anyway, so I don't think there will be one.

I am going to Taormina.
Very few people from here will be there I think (including Marti and Stef) - not sure how the gig will be because I have the feeling most of the people are not Damien fans but are checking him out out of curiousity or stuff. You know, only a bunch of hardcore fans will be there. This could be either positive (only a few people would stay after the gig ---> intimate aftershow?) but could also mean that we won't get a special setlist but a "greatest hits" one.
Let's see.

Only doing one gig this time around. Logistics won't let me do Verona as well cause I'll stay in Sicily for a few weeks. Perfect occasion to catch Damien near my hometown, anyway. I wish you all could come!

looks like he wants to stay there - 6 songs so far, some from him, some from fans covering him. Sounds great.

The aftershow was:

- Delicate
- Coconut Skins (sung by fans)
- My Favourite Faded Fantasy
- Rootless Tree (sung by fans)
- Accidental Babies
- Volcano (sung by fans)
- Amie > Sex Change
- Eskimo

I followed it via streaming so I'm sure of the setlist.

The setlist for the show might be this one, maybe not completely in order:

1 OLDER CHESTS
2 CANNONBALL
3 9 CRIMES (extended version)
4 THE BOX
5 WHAT IF I AM WRONG (fans request??)
6 TRUSTY AND TRUE
7 LA PROFESSOR ET LA FILLE DANSE
8 I REMEMBER
9 THE GREATEST BASTARD
10 ELEPHANT
11 IT TAKES A LOT TO KNOW A MAN (multi-instrumental extended version)
Encore:
12 COLOUR ME IN
13 THE BLOWER'S DAUGHTER
14 VOLCANO (unplugged, people on stage)

i asked for "what if i am wrong" after the lucerne show.
So great he remembered and played it today. ))

Bad news is that my recording(s) of today did not work out. For some reason the recorder did not record at all (main show and after show).
I did take a few videos of the main show (what if i am wrong) however - where we can extract the audio.

Have fun in sizilia

Pretty flawless show in my opinion. Damiens Performance was top and he really caught me at some point which didn't work for me in lucerne for some reason
Well, he played the usual songs and told the usual stories.
Insane was whished for at some point and he told only about seven people know this song. It there shoud be enough time he might play it later.

IMHO the Audience was annoying to some point. Insistingly clapping along To it takes a lot to know a man while the beat already was changed...and eagerly singing along to other songs ignoring the artist, whos obvioulsy trying to change the interpretation of the song to get the upper hand again and shut up the people in vain.
People in front of my who took photos all the time with some ****ty equipment - with the electronical (so its an artificial und unneccessary sound) shutter sound activated, people in back of me rather looked at their miniature cameras photos and talked rather than paying attention to what they paid for...etc.
When he did Volcano it was a bit scary when so many people rushed in front not giving noone at least some space. The stage was reaaaly crowded. Damien couldnt even play anymore because there was no room left. Reminded my of a Summer Sale.

I did not expect an aftershow to happen because there were sooo many people waiting outside. however he did come out after some time and i was lucky enoug to catch the spot right behind him. So i had his point of view seeing a huuuge crowd of people with everyone pointing their cameras towards him. So that's his point of view most of the time. Pretty awe-inspiring.

I bet you will have an small aftershow in sizilia! Got my fingers crossed for you - and enjoy! )

What If I Am Wrong

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvzoGb3-qMI

I got everything of the Main Set from what if i am wrong recored with my backup recorder.
My Main Rig did not work because i was clever enough to push "play" instead of "record".

Thank you for your review and sharing your recordings and videos. It seems he does aftershows if there is a critical mass.

I know he is human, but Damien cannot forget the words to "What If I'm Wrong." It is probably the most important song he's ever written, imo. It needs a wider release.
