perhaps the whole idea, elephantgirl, is that it would be a wonderful experience to endure all his creativity in one show instead of a pile of bootlegs that may become meaningless to some people in the end. the "damien burnout syndrome" is a living example., Tim (welcome by the way)

i'm glad you and your sister enjoyed the show! it's been a week and i keep reliving the show and i forgot to mention again - standing ovation two actually, one before the encore and again at the end Last edited by SisterMidnight; 12-28-2006 at 02:59 AM. |

Perhaps I was just hoping that the people around me would be as obsessed with him as I am! But after reading your comment, I can see where you are coming from. I do think you deserve to go to the concert. I see a different view now. I do agree with you - the songs are definitely better live than on the album. |

Hello! I am not saying that I was annoyed. But people around me certainly did look it! I have never been to an indoor concert, and the outdoor ones I have been to never had the lights shining directly at the audience. It was a whole new experience to me! |

and i know exactly what you mean about sitting by people who aren't into it (or as into it) because i always seem to get stuck sitting by those people, and quite franky it kind of puts a damper on the experience.. the guy next to me actually plugged his ears during me, my yoke and i i thought it was cool when the girl sitting front and center in front of damien got to her feet she was so into it, no one else really did that.. i honestly prefer general seating and floor standing gigs, it lends itself to more enthusiasm from the audience in my opinion Quote:

Indeed.
I procured the album back in October. Then, I didn't buy it thinking that at the Hiro show they may be selling it and signing the copies the sell after the show, as artists often do. But I don't believe they even sold merch that night. Then I realized that I just didn't care about having a hard version of it, and I won't ever listen to it, so I'm not bothering. |
