Yeah, you're probably right. You've been to a lot of gigs... nobody else has a clue.

In the interest of ending all outstanding bets and arguments that have been like a bad rash in their willingness to go away, here are two song titles for you. If anyone wants to continue arguing this out you'll have to take up the issue with the band, because they're the one's who decided on these titles;

1. Coconut Skins
2. Rat In The Grain

Thom, my take on this is that you should respect all artists whether you like them or not (and I am not an artist, never have been). This meaning that whether you like him or not you should not talk when they are playing. If you don't give a **** about his music and want to talk then why can't you do it in another room, like the bar. There may just be a fan there that wants to listen.

Example

I paid $70 US for a ticket to see DAMIEN support FIONNA APPLE at the Summer Stage in Central park about a month ago. I didn't even know a Fionna Apple song. I was there just for Damien. I am glad everyone there didn't take on your perspective otherwise Damien would have been **** for rude people talking over the top waiting for Fionna to come on.

PS > I don't mean for you to take offense at this, it is just giving to you from another view point

my 2 cents:

only went on wednesday so obviosly cant speak for tuesday. Pedestrian were listenable to.... Fionn was a knob. i thought Damo was good, but not great. liked the 3 or so new songs and Vyvs cover of the flaming lips. other than that i just thought it was the same old same old (didnt think the looping at the end of I Remember was the best he's ever done either)

the heat spoiled it for me, was sweatin like a rapist, also standing beside two tossers who kept shouting "fish face"

BTW i f*cking hate the people who make"SSSSSHHHHHHH" noises at gigs - you're as bad as the people you're giving out about

Dear God(ly) if that is your real name!?

I just need a transalation here as I don't speak Australian:

Are you implying that if someone didn't go both nights that they are not a Damien Rice Fan? Or did these people have tickets for 1st night and just not go???

I saw you at the Gig nice dreads!

sounds like it was an AWESOME gig!!!!

miss pink, relax. getting worked up over nothing. ok he hugged you and you didn't want him to. get over it. he listened to you and your b*tching about not filming any, so the least you could do is get over the fact that he hugged you.. he took in the experiance the way you wanted to, so be thankful of that.

Default Some pics from 29/30 Aug

Not great I genuinely accidentally took the one of Lisa with a flash and hate doing that. The others came out a little better without.Enjoy. I did. Magical as ever and well worth the expensive last minute trip all the way from the Isle of Man!

What you're really looking for is a 34.28mb .wav file, and that's a very rare thing, you certainly wouldn't find it in this topic anyway, and there's no way in hell it would be nine posts above your request or anything...

Hi Oisin

I would never make a judgement on whether someone is a fan or not. This you only know in yourself and can't be for others to judge

What I meant by CUTTING YOUR GRASS is like jumping out of line and being rude. I was doing a deal with a guy to buy his ticket and these people came along and jumped in to try to buy the ticket over me when I was already in the middle of the doing a deal. I recognised their effort to want to go and since I seen him the previous night I didn't mind giving up the ticket for them. When they came back and done it again about 45 minutes later I thought that was taking it to far. Then they started telling the guy I was buying it off that I was a scalper and would turn around and sell it for $100 EUR. They said to the guy selling it to me that his kind gesture would turn around and bite him on the the bum.

I just thought this was very rude and uncalled for. I was only talking to him 10 minutes earlier about buying a ticket then he comes out and starts shafting me. Really not the appropriate thing to do, meaning telling blatent lies when he knew full well I wanted that ticket to go to the show.

Hope this clears up what you are asking

gODLY

That's a really ignorant thing for someone to do, you should have sent a plague of locusts or something.
That would teach those godless sodomites to fear your wrath.
