Damien on Sesiones con Alejandro Franco

Finally, an air date for the appearance that Damien recorded for "Sesiones con Alejandro Franco", on his trip to México in January, has been set.

The show will air on Saturday May 16 at 9 PM on Sony Entertainment Latin America, and re-air the same night at 1:00 AM (May 17).

oh! i do have that channel... i mean i have the Sony Entertainment one.. but i dont know if it's the Latin America one... if I do, maybe I could record it....

Yup, this will be on TV, and do check your local listings if you're in Latin America, because the times, as Verenita pointed out, vary from place to place. You can check them via the website canalsony.com.

Devushka, if you're in Chile I'm pretty sure you have Sony Latin America

. If in doubt though, just watch the channel for a bit and see if promos for this show air. They play them all the time.

I can definitely record!

I'm pretty sure it's the same channel for every country in latin america, except with some different time/hour listings (or whatever is said). Diferentes horarios para cada pais

well, when the show started with natalia lafourcade I got really frustrated because I though it was only a half an hour show. but I was wrong hehe.
they finally had damo on the second half. he did 4 songs and a nice interview. hope our mexican eskimo can upload, otherwise I have it in my vcr and I'll try to do my best to record it on the pc and upload it.

damn it!!! i was recording it but the file was too big and there was not enough space in the hard drive!!!

i'll try to record it again at 2 am... with a lower quality

Hey! I did record it and will upload it, probably as a DVD on Dime, but I'm trying to figure out how to do it (it'd be my first time uploading a torrent).

It was a bit annoying how Alejandro kept saying his name wrong :S, and how they mixed-up Elephant and Cannonball (spelled incorrectly by the way), but still a good show. Sadly, like Eva mentioned, it was shared with Natalia Lafourcade, God knows why, up until now all artists had the whole hour to themselves.

One funny little moment was a sort of long pause by Damien after being asked why he had been away for so long.

3- Blower's Daughter.
4- Cannonball.

I think he did more, but they didn't air them

i saw it and it was brilliant! (of course, i can´t give you any objective point of view, lol).

he talked about the "all lies" that lyrics songs say... he said the same thing at trinity college, remember? and he´s fantastic with expressions and body movements. i simply adore him

Alejandro Franco is an ass!

Sorry, I just had to say it hehe. I was there when they recorded the session and I felt so frustrated everytime he pronounced Damien's name wrong. I just saw Damien with a wtf face everytime he heard him speaking.

He's the worst interviewer ever. I've seen most of the shows and different seasons of Sesiones and he always gets something wrong or ask lame questions. It's a pity he gets the opportunity to interview important bands for such a lame show and without a bit of backgrounf information concerning the artist. I mean, it's not only the host, the audio quality is bad too! The only good thing is that it gives a large audiende the chance to see private sessions of great artists.

I was so angry when I found out Damien session would only be 30 min long. The previous shows it was one artist or band every episode, I have no idea why Damien had to share with another artist. I so wanted to see The Professor. It was such a lovely performance.

Whoa, I seemed so angry in this message haha. I'm not, just a bit dissapointed. Not because of Damien of course

Oh! A bit of spam here I hope you don't mind, if you get the chance to see the show this next saturday, don't miss it! I'm almost sure they will air the Band of Horses session (shared with !!!) It was a great session as well, I'm sure it'll be really fun to watch

Guys, I'm using Trader's Little Helper to create the torrent file, but the "Create" button cannot be selected

@ Lillian: I completely agree! How hard is it to pronounce Damien's name? I mean if you're gonna have a tv-show, and have international guests, you should at least pronounce their name right. I think he means well but he's a pretty bad interviewer as you were saying. I saw his session with The Kooks and he messed it up pretty bad. Also, what a waste to have such great acts on your show and then only air on tv like half of what they performed.

I'm assuming you have .vob files, right? have you tried creating the torrent with uTorrent?

if the torrent thing doesn't work, you can compress all the vob files in a rar/zip file splitting them with winrar/winzip and upload all the files to megaupload or similar
