Thank you once again. I'm using Azureus and I've been able to download 2.99 gig and upload 2.10 gigs in about 15 hours. At this present time my download/upload speed is a little slower at 12 kb/s and 23kb/s respectively.

All I got were connection errors, I use ABC
I hope that when one of you finish you might be generous enough to seed to Dime, then it will go easier for those who follow ( me )

I think it might be that I have Mac OS X v. 10.3, which one do you have?

That's probably the reason, I'm going to look for previous versions of Azureus to see if that works.

Thanks!

utorrent for mac is supposedly in the works... hopefully, it will be released soon.

have you tried transmission? that's what i use on my mac and i've no complaints other than the fact that you can't selectively download individual files like utorrent allows...

Now there are 6 seeds, hopes it will go faster...

Does nyone know what we have to do once the download is finished? I mean, can we watch directly or do we need to convert the files (like flacs to wavs...)???? Can you burn the concert into a cd/dvd if it's 4 gigas??

you won't need to convert the .vob files, they can be viewed on your computer or burned to dvd.

single layer dvd's have a capacity of 4.7 GB (dual layer = 8.5 GB) thus this will fit on either.

i see 16 seeds as of right now, and my average download speed is about 150 kb/sec... at this rate, i should finish up in about 6 hours.

Only 46% done because I had to stop downloading last night. (But resuming right now!)
There are more seeds but downloading is still slow for me (about 30kb/s).

The website states that it only works for Mac OS X 10.4 or higher I have 10.3

Do you know where I could find older versions of Azureus or perhaps Transmission?

*edit* Found Transmission version 0.5 which does run on my mac but I get the same results as with the original BitTorrent client: no seeds or peers are detected so it's not downloading nor uploading anything.

Why don't you just use "utorrent." It takes up much less CPU usage and it's way better anyway. Go to www.utorrent.com and you should be fine.

By the way, my internet gets 10 megabites a sec download while also accomplishing 14 megs a sec upload speeds. Therefore, everyone's torrent speed should increase a little and I'll be sure to fully seed to help everyone as well. There have been many times where I had to wait a few days to get a 1 gig file and from the looks of it, I should be done downloading this file in about 4-5 hours. And for those who don't know, downloading speeds are moreso dependent on how fast everyone else's download speeds are as well. Anyways, check out utorrent and good luck!

i'm actually downloading on my pc rather than my mac, but when i downloaded the torrent file, the mininova site showed no seeds or peers.. it took a few minutes for utorrent to start d/ling....

i'll try to connect on my mac (i think i still have bittorrent & tomato on it along with transmission) and see if either of those work.

Edit: I had no problem connecting on my mac.... but I'm running OS X 10.4

perhaps you might want to try bits on wheels that is mentioned here:

http://torrentfreak.com/mac-bt-clients/

good luck :-)

Sorry to hear about utorrent not being available for MAC. Just as an update, I'm currently at 42% download complete and I've already uploaded 6.0 gigs. If you're one those who already has this file make sure you continue seeding otherwise you're ruining it for everyone. Mininova states that this torrent has been downloaded a total of 1,308 times and there's no reason why there should only be 9 seeders. And I know that not all of those 1,308 downloads have been from this site but I'm sure we were probably the first ones to know about it. Good luck and Terriman please check your Eskimo Inbox if you haven't done so already. Peace.

Alright everyone, I just finished downloading the DVD and I also seeded/uploaded 15 gigabytes as well. I'm sure this will help many of you and I'll continue to seed for the rest of this weekend. Enjoy and take care of yourselves. Peace.
