Do you get special offer emails from Ticketmaster? They very often mail out passwords for shows.

Also, it's a good idea to like them on FB... sometimes they have passwords on their FB page.

I thought it was the other way around? My email says the code is only good for Ticketmaster tix, but the presale for my venue in Minneapolis is one of the dr.com venues for presale tix.

Northrop Auditorium has Damien on the front page of their site, and says tickets will be $45, $55.

Washington, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Boulder and Portland shows:

Presale tickets can be purchased through the damienrice.com Tour page .

All other shows

Presales will be held through Ticketmaster and require the use of this code: xxxxxxx

It's confusing!

I just realized the April date is 11 years to the week when I first saw Damien perform. Wow has it really been that long?

Yes, Melissa - I should clarify. The code is only good for the damienrice.com presales that take place via ticketmaster.

There are no codes needed for the sales that take place through the dr.com website.

For the Chicago show, you need your code for the damienrice.com presale because it takes place on ticketmaster tomorrow.

There are two other presales that will take place on Thursday, a ticketmaster presale (probably for the people who subscrive to their emails / like them on fb) as well as a local presale which could be a radio station, or the actual venue email subscribers list.

It's confusing! The pre-sales listed on ticketmaster as damienrice.com are actually for his email subscribers.

TL;DR you need your code for the presale that takes place tomorrow.

I know! It always seems like a cluster**** like this when trying to get tickets. I'm really excited about the Northrop venue, good vibes there, the last time I saw him there was when I got to meet him, all on my own with no one else around. Very fond (one of my best) memories

Really glad that they are will call only - will definitely cut down on price gouging for the best seats. At one point, someone had a listing with 9 seats in row B for the Apollo show, asking something like $550 a piece.

I saw that too, that was just ridiculous!
Really glad that this time they saved the best seats for real fans.

And there were still orchestra seats on sale the day of show $55 no fees.

I'm pretty sure those were the friends and family holds that were no longer needed. Some friends of mine picked up a pair at about 3:30 day of the show, and later told us that My Bubba's friends / family were seated next to and in front of them.

I've gotten incredibly lucky many times with day of show ticket drops. If you can wait til day of, it can definitely be worth it.

What are the chances of getting good seats to his concert? I've never been to one before so I don't know if they sell out quickly or what.

They can, but will they? I hope so!

The seats I bought in the Apollo presale were lower mezz, yet people were able to buy orchestra seats in the general onsale.

It appears that tickets are not will call for the Beacon show so, unfortunately, I'm sure we'll see some of them up on stubhub / ebay right away

I'm already getting ticket anxiety...

He does seem to love doing multiple shows in New York. Are you coming back to the states Marti?

Everyone realize you're not getting Philly presale tickets tomorrow. Try and all, but I just confirmed on the phone with the Academy of Music that the six rows listed there make up about 150 seats total. Even if the Damien Rice presale has every seat in those first six rows of the venue (seems unlikely) there are only 75 pairs of tickets available tomorrow morning.

I hope he puts together a band for these gigs. Don't get me wrong, I love however he plays, but I'd like to hear the new songs full on and sometimes I really miss the sound of the cello

Does Washington presale mean Washington DC or Seattle?

Thanks...
