Live Lounge
As you all know Damo's on the live lounge this friday, here's how you can all capture it for your mp3 player etc. (Also a request for someone to rip it into an mp3 file)
use this: http://www.pctip.ch/downloads/dl/24171.asp to capture the stream itself, then http://www.erightsoft.net/SUPER.html#Dnload to convert it to mp3 It would be great if someone would do that, I would, but I don't have a home PC anymore.

http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/25421 It allows you to save in AAC, AIFF, MP3 or Quicktime Movie... however, as it is shareware, until you register and pay the $19, it will insert a voiceover into your recording every 30 seconds stating "this recording was made with wiretap pro..." For some odd reason, this voiceover is not inserted when you choose to save in AIFF, which are quite large files and play in quicktime. Audacity should convert these AIFF's, but I've yet to do so successfully - they are severely slowed down each time I try. I gather there must be another freeware utility that will do the conversion, but I've yet to find it. |

The program starts at 10 am UK time til 12.45 pm...
I know that in California we are 8 hours behind, so it would start at 2 am here. So for you, Central time would be 2 hours more, so 4 am I reckon... But on the other hand, bbc radio puts all programs online a few hours later. So anyone will be able to listen to it in the afternoon or the next day. I think they even make special clips with the live lounge so that you don't have to listen to the whole show but just the live lounge. So plenty of opportunities to record it, don't have to do it live |

Why did I think this was on tonight? Oh well, they already have it up on their website to listen to.
Go to Jo Whileys show for today and skip in to about 2hrs 23mins in. Song two is about 2hrs 37mins in... thought there would be more than two, but they had problems with a powerfailure and had to rearrange everything. Pity. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/jowhiley/

He did 9 crimes, and cannonball. The guitar really doesn't do 9crimes justice Am I the only one who feels this way? I wish he'd do the arppegios instead of this strumming.

Well guitar may have been a last minute choice - there was a power-cut in their Maida-Vale studios and he had to be rushed in a taxi to the main BBC Radio 1 studio, so unlikely that he could have thrown the piano on the roof, lol.
