I agree that Damien has criated a masterpiece, but I disagree that "9" is better than "O". It's different, but 9 couldn't impact me how O did.

I find it easier to connect with 9 than O. I guess it just depends on what you're feeling at the time.

Me too, mostly becuase 9 is a better album. But that's just me.

i think they're cheating with some of those quotes from reviews...
for example, in Uncut, the quote is :"Rice is at his best when he’s quiet" but they've shortened it to "Rice at his best" ... it's a good review from Uncut, so i don't know why they felt the need to do that. i don't remember mojo calling the album "a giant step", though i could be wrong. i hope they don't send that out as it is... |
