Lili's been doing great, so far she's been an easy baby and does pretty well at night. I've been watching poker on TV during her 2-3am feeding - maybe I'll become a professional poker player, lol.

my conductor sent us the rehearsal- and performance dates of our programme this summer (we'll be doing a south american concert and the bruckner mass in e-minor). we have one rehearsal day which happens to be the date of my hen-night. so i sent him an e-mail that my bridesmaid and i will only attend the morning session, but not the afternoon one.
his reply was something like, well, if it's more important for you to get a chippendales performance than attend the reharsal...
i have to add that usually he doesn't reply at all or you get an "ok" at most. so, this was funny enough. but i'm really close to reply now to invite him as well, as he's gay. maybe he was only jealous, that i didn't invite him in the first place. this might sound mean, but it isn't at all! i just can't wait for our next practice - i'm sure he'll drop the one or the other comment... we'll see...

a local tv show played 9 crimes yesterday (almost midnight)
for some reason (maybe, because it was totally unexpected) i liked the song even more.

^yayayyay, congrats!

Can we see pictures pls?

If it helps, i can post a few pics from the place my wedding is going to be:

And this is the firm but just housekeeper of the place - she has been on national tv for being somewhat of a character - i'm curious to see what it'll be like to cooperate with her, it might get a little difficult sometimes:

girls, i´m so damn happy for you
jo, i´m glad you finally booked the place. and cille, that place looks beautiful.
if i ever get married, i would love to celebrate my wedding at a bar or pub: simple, friendly and funny (and cheaper, for sure )

Actually, i also want it to be simple and not too fancy - the thing about the place we dicided to book is that people can sleep over there (and we will hopefully have many friends coming from abroad, so we need some sort of accomodation for them) and there is a lot of nature around it, so you can go for walks if you like - get away for a bit during the night. And it's a really worn-down old place, the 'dining room' is in some old staples - it all makes the party feel very relaxed and down-to-earth.
now we just need there to be good food and a lot of musicians, so we can jam all night

We're THE BEST!

Yeah, if they don't mind sleeping in a tent or sharing an attic space with other smelly musicians/wedding guests, and they will do it just for the free meal, we can work something out

Oh, i hope it will be a lot of fun!

^ kewl bike! will you travel there with your drahtesel?

i don't have that many pictures of the location yet. those are the ones from the homepage, i'll post some more when we've been there to discuss the details.

as you can see it's directly at the lake

that means the kids have enough space to play and run around, etc...

cille, i know that you know it already but your location looks fab!

^Also, climate looks lovely. It's probably gonna raaaaiiiin on my wedding day....(isn't it ironic? No not really) since it's also my birthday, and I don't know if this is used in the rest in the world, but here in DK we say that if you have misbehaved during the year, the weather is gonna be bad on your b'day.

Hearing my son's belly laugh made me smile. We were reading a book that he found hilarious, and he has been belly laughing about it for the last hour. It has got to be one of the best sounds in the world and is so contagious. I love it.
