He is one of the top 3 live shows I have ever seen. So much energy and so much fun. Very excited for the new album, I'm still waiting for Fear Fun to get old.

Loving the new album. Very tongue in cheek winking at the camera album.

Urgh, I can't listen through the whole thing. Maybe I'm just not in the mood for this stuff these days, I don't know.

I'm not really into it either. But my head's filled with so much wonderful new music at the moment that I might not have given it a proper chance.
He's coming to Brussels in a couple of weeks. I'll be there. I'm sure he's going to win me back then. Also that heart shaped box cover was a bit nauseating. Last edited by carrroline; 02-18-2015 at 05:27 AM. |

I wasn't sold in it immediately either but the more I listen to it the more I enjoy it. Much like fear fun which I didn't get instantly but when I did became a all time fav. Give it 2 more listens before you quit on it for good.

Oh I like the cover. I never realized how deep those lyrics were until his stripped down rendition.

On my way back from the gig. He was brilliant.
A mix from the old and the new album. Some awesome dance moves and the best banter. Will give that new album another spin soon. |

I'm so glad you liked it. Was he with a full band or solo. I've seen him both and prefer the full electric band.

With a full band. It was my first Misty gig, so I can't compare. But I can imagine he's less energetic when he's solo?

Yes. It's basically half stand up comedy set and half acoustic singer songwriter set. With the band it was half deranged lounge singer and half early 70's Rock star. Is destroying the drum kit, finishing a bottle of whiskey on stage, wrapping the mic cord around his neck, arguing with the crowd, pulling girls onstage/backstage.
