I like the photos. Are they all your friends or did you hire models?

THANKS GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Soda - that one is actually my favorite too...
Wheels - yes the people in my photos are all my friends...
Aisling - Thanks! I love that shot...its all natural light, no flash, thats why it has that grainey look...
Corey - so glad you liked that one..I considered not adding it to the gallery, so I'll leave it...

I generally like to shoot people more than I do landscape etc...or I like to integrate the two...
eskimos..I appreciate the feedback!! I love to view other people's work so if you have photos (b&w or color) and would like to share please post it in this thread....

thnx soleillily.
i like taking pics, been doing it since my grandpa gave me a simple kodak instamatic when i was 4.
now i have a small digital ixus, easy to take with you on holiday, but i would prefer a big one like the canon350d for the realy nice shots.

Great shots from both of you. I've just bought myself a flashy new digital camera... it arrived yesterday and I'd run the batteries out within 3 hours!! At least I'm restricted now becuase I have to wait for the batteries to charge!

i shoot with a 10D these days.... i love it.... my main lense is a Tokina 24-200 but i use a Canon 50mm f1.4 for low light/concert photography.... i highly recommend the 10D.... the 20D is worth it only if you are going to be enlarging past 24x36 (huge) so i don't see the need yet.... the difference between 6.3 and 8 megapixels is almost not noticeable.... and you can pick them up cheap these days because people (with money to blow) are upgrading to the 20D.... i've seen bodies going for around $650 barely used....

I got myself a Sony 4-meg Cyber-Shot... it's not got many advanced features, and it's not their most stylish model, but the picture quality is fantastic!

Really, really, good. I mean that. With digital photography being cheaper, and easier, than ever before, everyone suddenly thinks they're a photographer. Really none of them have the tiniest clue, and think taking pictures of themselves with their right arm, and plastering them with Photoshop effects constitutes them as the next Cindy Sherman. You are an actual photographer, and I know it doesn't seem like it, but that's bloody rare these days. It's alot better than the majority of the work I've seen lately.
