Oh...great venue, always wanted to go there. Do you know if it's general admission?

It's general admission. But there is a but, sometimes the Half circle is seated and reserved for the VIP (I've seen it in seated configuration for asaf avidan and dead can dance). sometimes it's not

He was in a ****in great mood compared to galway. Chatty, he talked to some people in the front row, jokes (mostly the amie story). Played the old songs mostly. From mfff : trusty and true , it takes a lot to know a man and mustard seeds. There was also a duet with Mariam after the encore

He did and it was lovely!! Stef requested it inbetween 2 songs and Damo smiled and said that someone at the airport yesterday asked for it, and that probably no one knew the song. So a small conversation started at the gig, between Stef and Damo there haha... Damo asked how he knew it, and Stef replied that he didn´t and that he saw it on Damo´s Instagram, when the new album was recorded. So Damo went...aw...cheeky bastard....haha! But decided to play it. It was a very lovely song, about what is really important in your life when you're old and about to leave the world. It's not gold, but love. To me, it was a typical existentialist song, typical for a 40+ year old man . The style to me was older, like Cold Water and Accidental Babies. Same pace. Maybe that is why it didn't fit on the new album.
I'm uploading a video since when I got back to the hotel but it's only at 50% yet..someone elses upload might be quicker.

Great show overall, bit short (no encore with chair), ambience in the venue was amazing. People were very quiet and respectful.
He did a song with Mariam, I never heard it before, but I liked it a lot.
Our fried Olivier uploaded that one already:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwpydn3ygZs

Professor (with longgggg funny story trying everything in french): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7wzkxkbUis

Furthermore, he did Canonball, Older chests, IDWTCY, Blowers Daughter, ITALTKAM, 9 crimes, Trusty & True, Volcano (+ audience), I remember, Elephant...euh and some more, not sure, but no surprises.

I have many videos as well as Stef, but will upload later tonight, wifi sucks here!

wow, great! Can't wait to listen to Mustard Seeds!
So it's not the song from Barcelona that had "seeds" in the lyrics?

Why do u call it a farmers outfit?? Its just an old fashioned outfit like men wore in Ireland, years before other fabrics and belts were available.. Woolen trousers, held up with braces, and their best shirt.. I think so anyway... He's yummy in it,no Vere???

Lol Vere... Sure I told his mammy that I LOVE her son at the Iveagh, but this is more lust... Lol... .this thread, all the sharing about the gig, the airing of mustard seeds at last, how cute he was calling stef a cheeky bastard, all the banter has made me smile this Sunday... But also makes me think how much we missed out in Galway...we could have had that Damien too!! . I NEED to see him somewhere intimate and beautiful!!

Was he wearing shorts and flip flops, with the suspenders? I love that! But, I love his ripped T-shirts too. They get so soft when they're that worn.

Really like mustard seeds. Great requesting, Stef!!

Was wearing long shorts and flip flops in the pic of him sound checking above, was wearing his old fashioned trousers and BRACES for the gig,I think the ones he had been photographed in for the promo, with the girl behind him, (I think he'd even lol at the use of the word suspenders in this context) .... I won't comment on what I'd like to imagine him in.....;-)

It's also the song he was singing when he was leaving his dressing room in the Le Garrec video at the Montreux Jazz Festival
