Tomás Luis de Victoria - Pueri Hebraeorum
This song appears (although in a different version) in the movie "The Reader" during the church scene when Hanna starts to cry tears of joy - achingly beautiful... |

^^Hendrik, if you like this kind of music you have to get one record: The 1963 recording of the King's College Choir performing Miserere by Gregorio Allegri, with Roy Goodman singing the sporano solo. It's a legendary recording that is possibly the most beautiful performance of Western sacred music. It's sadly not on youtube, but it wouldn't do it justice anyway.
(of the piece, it's good to know that the Vatican actually banned people from transcribing or performing it, because it was deemed too beautiful to be played outside the Sistine Chapel. Then a chap named Mozart came along and after two listening he wrote it down from memory and later it was published)

yeah, i watched the Mic Christopher - Troubadour (Leargas Tribute) videos too (which i haven't seen till now and it's just so touching and sad (Part1, Part2, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wv2druIzW6o) I never got to discover him really and I'm still looking to buy an original if possible, or a new (which i don't think there are any "new" skylarkin' cd's and even his old the mary janes stuff... but i'm having a tough time finding any of it But that video i posted before it was great to see them so happy and really enjoying themselves...
It's funny.. Mic has changed so much through out his life, both looks and personality you could say... then you look at Glen and he looks the same now as he did then almost... lol... Yet they both changed profoundly and Glen changed and grew through relationships, and Mic unfortunately changed and grew through tragedy... It's funny they both have a similar background too with such a strong passion for music... both busking at a young age and just following their dreams... Sadly life is a beetch and Mic isn't around because of some nasty steps... <3 and i still haven't got to see GLEN! I'm gonna make it my mission in the near future to follow him on tour for a while in the future :P anywho... i'm listening to the REM cover glen did on Jimmy fallon... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGUVKwn8_Aw And now I like Jimmy Fallon because he had Glen on his show :P... lol anywho <3

The latest record I made of one of my tries to play Señor (Tales Of Yankee Power). It's bad. But I have finally managed to rid myself of the Southern accent that used to take me over in the chorus. A small, but significant victory.
