My last gig was also the wrens at a very small club in hull which held just over 100 people. I also so Larrikin Love the week before there.

My next gig is Arctic Monkeys, I guess we have started getting lucky in Hull

Yeah it was really ace! They played (in no order)...

Reacharound
Flame
Eve
Lamposts
Trampolines
Tongue
I'll see your heart and i'll raise you mine - Another song.
Rocky Took A Lover
Bad Skin Day
Alphabet Soup
Snakes & snakes
Next To You
He Said She Said
Bigger Then Me
My First Born For A song

Oxfam have been touring with them, through out the tour! They were working with Control Arms , and the woman who asked us for our signature, was from my town where i live! We were both like "Woooo" lol!!

But it was a really really good night! Im still Semi-Deaf from it! The best song was Tongue, Rocky Took A Lover, Flame And I'll See Your Heart and Ill Raise You Mine! Everybody just went silent for I'll See Your... And Eve, the Apple Of My eye!

I hope their is a bootleg out there, somewhere!

last nights setlist in Leeds was [ in track order]

My First Born For A song
Bigger Than Me
Reacharound
Next To you
Rocky Took a LOver
Alphabet Soup
Bad Skin Day
Eve, The Apple of My Eye
Trampoline
Flame

He Said, She Said
Lamposts

Snakes and Snakes
I'll see your heart and i'll raise you mine > There is a light and it never goes out *

basically same setlist a Manchester on friday night except they played Just Like Mr Benn instead of Offshore.

Last time they played the cockpit was June 2004 and the time before that was April 2003 when they supported the Burn , which was when they collided with Har Mar Superstar.

other recent gigs have been

Bell X1 - Academy 3 - Manchester

thought that 'the upper room' were pretty good - haven't consciously heard anything by jimmy eat world so i couldn't comment on the closest 'soundalike' - the sound mix was a bit too loud and bassy for my liking - then again the acoustics of a railway arch may have something to to with it as well being a portal into narnia

girlfriend's 13 year old daughter + friend raved about them after friday's session in Manchester so they must be 'kewl' i suppose

last night set list for the upper room was:-

combination
your body
all over this town
portrait
kill kill kill
once for me
black and white

they are playing the cockpit again on mon 24th april - may go and see them again although a gig by them closer to the centre of the universe [sheffield] would be easier to go to for a third listen with them being headliners instead of a support.

in the sweet spot about 30 ft from the stage dead centre from both speakers at the point where the sound converges into something tolerable and well balanced or if you noticed the spot light stands on the wall going away from the stage - there were three on each side i was in the middle of room in line with second set of light [Lat: 53.794420N Long: 1.543181W to be precise ]

I dont know if you saw me, as everyone was taller then me! I realised im really really small ompared to alot of other people! The guy i met was like a tower, and the girls were taller then me!
