I have played gigs with Dry The River and they are by far the best new band I've seen in that genre for a very long time. I think it's just a festival and they are having abit of fun with some Irish guy who had a good album 10 years ago and is doing a cover of a famous song. I'm sure they didn't mean to take the performance lightly but I don't think Damien was a very big deal at this festival, he seemed a last minute addition sort of thing. He deserves respect obliviously and I think if you had been there you would of seen they had judged the situation correctly. They shouldn't be swept under the carpet as an insignificant new band either, you should really try and listen to their work. As for Laura Marling her song writing can't really be beaten, she is an amazing musician and anyone in the know in the UK is well aware of her.
