ftp server for ya

hi guys

i have a server up with tons of music, including some of damien rice. feel free to login. not sure what the speeds will be like as i am downloading some shows. but some is better than none i guess. please set your retries > 120sec and check out my trading page, show list, and serverfaq if u need to

These are the usernames/passwords - the nondmb one probably has the dr stuff in it

1. what do i type into my web browser under ftp: to get to your ftp.

2. what password should i put in to get to the damein rice stuff

password and username are written shorthand like this

instead of username a____ password b_____

they are written a______/b_______

so check out my first post for that. for ftp i would use software as described in my server faq. why rewrite what is there? plus i have to sleep

I cant connect to your site. I keep getting the same eror message, no matter what login and password i use. The error is:</font>

i couldnt get on to it either but i got on for the first time earlier on. i used fast/antsmarching and it worked . i was using smart ftp

what are you using to connect. it may also be an active/passive problem. not sure[img]smileys/smiley6.gif[/img]

Im running SmartFTP, and behind a firewall. I've tried both passive and active settings. Sometimes your site tells me that the password isnt excepted. And otehr times it allows the same password.

I've saved all the passwords in the "favourites" section, so i've not changed them. But they only work sometimes.

that one time the password works the other time it doesnt may be due to the server being down at times. anyway u can get outside the firewall?
