That's a great list, thanks!
I would have loved a list like that a couple of years ago. Although I really loved searching for songs I didn't know yet, or, even better, finding something 'new' by accident. This list makes everything just too easy

I'll have a proper look later, but some quick comments:
- 'Famous Blue Raincoat' is a Cohen song, so it should be under covers
- 'Back to beginning' is not a cover, but a collaboration. Maybe there should be more categories. (like 'collaborations' and 'juniper songs')
- 'no one need know' is missing
- 'closer' is missing as well
- 'the waiting song' should definitely be on the list
- Should 'be real with me' be on the list as well?
- Should 'old tomatoes' be on the list as well?
- and 'slow'
- and 'everyone said it'
- and 'child, man, silly dog'
- desafinado, waters of march, don't explain: covers
- the song with Mia Maestro 'time to go' is missing as well...
- another collaboration: 'the power of orange knickers' with tori amos
- Be my husband (nina simone cover)

ps: When I first read the title 'Let's make an order', I thought that this would be a thread to request songs for the new album

good idea about the collaboration, I'll do it.
and yes, I thought about making Juniper category, it may take me a while but i'll add it.

Thanks for the songs that I forgot/putted in the wrong place - I've changed it.

Thanks for this!
Someone had done it many years ago and it would be interesting to find that thread too

I think collaborations should only be the songs he co-wrote with/for others and maybe the songs written by other that feature Damien on vocals... but songs like "To love somebody" or those with Bono should be under "covers" I think...

He recorded "Back to beginning" with Carrie Tree in 2010, when Carrie and Andy Barlow (who wrote the song) were in a band/duo called Luna Seeds... Then Andy re-formed his old band Lamb, and released a new version of the song with Damien and Lou Rhodes on vocals... That song was later released on Lamb's album "5" in 2011 and I think it should make it to the list because is a lot different: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MakVsJ50-Iw

As for the Mia Maestro song, for now you can put the Spotify link: https://play.spotify.com/track/4IJJW5eMltEH2jngSYWae1

And there are two new songs that he did a couple years ago in Italy: "Comfort You" and "What Have You Done To Her Face"

"Needles" is also missing from the list, and "Bang Bang" from covers. For other covers, check this thread http://www.eskimofriends.com/forum/s...ghlight=covers or this one http://www.eskimofriends.com/forum/s...ead.php?t=7728

And I'd add a new category for improvisations and live additions to songs, and put there songs like "Real with me", "Fear", "Red Nose Happy", "Have you seen the moon" and "Happy Green Joe" (maybe Forgotten Dears too).
"Old Tomatoes" is more an intro to Delicate than a proper song...

ps. The song previously known as "What this night is for" is actually titled "Eve and the day", according to Damien himself

It wasn't Damien who sang it with her, was it? Wasn't it that Bell X1 dude or something? I mean on that radio show way back when.

what about Never?

sure he´s done more covers, on top of my head I'm sure he did When A Man Loves A Woman once during the 9 tour, somewhere in the US... he also used to do Prince´s Kiss (there is a medley with Face on YT)... there´s also this traditional song called Black is the Colour, he did in Australia once in the 9 tour, there´s a low quality video on YT

in the Juniper (released by Damien) section, you can add Cross Eyed Bear and Me, My Yoke & I... Needles, too? plus The Professor and Woman like a Man are not unreleased...

in regards to collaborations, isn´t One just Damo solo (no Bono), at least on the Q CD that I got...

Just wondering... which of these songs will be on the new album?

My guess… 'the box' and 'the greatest bastard' for sure, probably 'trusty and true' and 'no one need know'.
I doubt that 'back to her man' will be on it. It doesn't seem to fit with the tone of the other songs.

Really? It kinda grew on me
It's sweet, desperate and a little mean at the same time. I adore that unlikely combination.

I would love it if 'forgotten dears' or 'stone' was on it. But I guess that's not very likely

yeah, but about a thousand of them are mine

The only 'new' song that he has been playing regularly on official shows is 'the box'. So I guess all the other songs are possibilities?

I'm pretty sure that "The Box" will be there, and also, I really really want "Insane" to be part of the album...!

and, by the way, the administrator gave me more space in my post, so I added the things that you told me, so if you see things that are still missing let me know...

It's also on iTunes.

The song is called 'time to go'
There's actually not a lot of Damien in it... (and to be honest... this might be my least favourite damien song)

The Box, The Greatest Bastard, Back to Her Man are 100% sure. Trusty & True probably too... hopefully that song I Don´t Know How to Confort You too... the other newies (No One Need Know, What Have You Done to Her Face) I don´t think are album-material...

I think some of the newies from the 9 tour could be in the album. Hope he does not throw away What This Night is For, Beast & Beauty or Is That t My Friend... all three are amazing song imo

As much as I love all the old unreleased (Insane, Fool, etc), they have no chance. He said Insane was already too old to be in 9, so no hope to be included now eight years later...

it depends... what if he got that feeling back? i hope he certainly didn´t. it´s too painful.

i just wish we could hear a small confirmation about the release... very unlikely, i know!
