Default Newton Faulkner & Kate Walsh

I saw both of them at a small, but packed gig last night and I was completely blown away by both of them.

Newton Faulkner is as much a comedien as he is an amazing musician. Great showmanship and interaction with the audience, and great, quick witted answers to a few drunken hecklkers! His guitar work is incredible, he does all that tapping stuff which seems to be quite popular at the moment.

He's on a small tour at the moment, so if he's coming near you I'd definatly recommend going to see him. Even if it's not your style you'll still have a great night!

Supporting him he had Kate Walsh, who again, was absolutaly exceptional. Pitch perfect on every note and another great character. She also seems to be on a small tour, and again, definatly worth seeing!

I don't think I've ever been quite as impressed with a small local gig, ticket only cost me a fiver and I would have paid at least 3 times that if I'd known what I'd have heard!
