Another successful Utorrent story. We're glad it finally worked out for ya, keep it up and don't forget to seed until you've atleast seeded the initial size of the torrent. That is unless for some reason your internet connection or other setup prevents you from doing so. So in that case forget about it. Peace.

*By the way, how many of you like my Juliette Binoche avatar? Isn't she just wonderful to look at...ahhhhh. Yeah, I'd hit it.

Watching it now. Thanks to all who seeded. My isp is already threatening to break my legs due to overuse but I'll try to seed for at least a couple of hours a night (8pm gmt) for the next week.

What kind of venue was it, Terriman? Was it sold out? Singing without the mic suggests it isn't a terribly big place, but it looks roomy when you sway to the audience at the end.

It wasn't all sold out (i think) they were a couple of sits free and the place wasn't big at all. By the other hand, the acoustic of the auditorium was great so when he sang without the mic you could hear it very well.

For some reason, the torrent won't work for me Any idea why this might be?

I have a macbook and I use Azureus. By the other hand...forget about Dime, it's only a search engine that stores torrents (like mininova), it has NOTHING to do with the tracker. Please, get over the Dime thing...it's lame

http://www.slyck.com/news.php?story=1117 YIKES!
I guess we have to use azureus now, even though it's not as system- and user friendly as µtorrent

Would someone in the US consider doing a Blank and Postage? PM me if you would do this for me.
I couldnt get it to work but it might be the firewall my ISP has, I can use some torrent sites but cant others. I can use Dime but for some reason a lot of torrent sites are blocked, I think that many ISPs think that all torrents are evil or something.
Most often if you have Nero, the software does all of the work for you when burning to DVD. I would assume other burning programs do the same.

You'll want to burn all the .vob, .bup and .ifo files. As for how you go about doing so, it depends on your burning software... Do you have Nero? If so, it's quite simple to burn DVD-Video using the burning rom.

First off, thank you Terriman for taking the time to make this DVD!

Second, well I need some help...
I did everything I thought I was supposed to do, and it didn't work.
I should mention this is my first time using a torrent and burning a DVD, so I apologize if what I'm about to say sounds stupid.

1. I installed utorrent, and downloaded the whole thing, which took about 9 hours. (the files i downloaded couldn't be opened individually though, i guessed that's how it's supposed to be)

2. I used a Memorex DVD+R recordable 16x 4.7 GB disk

3. I used the DVD burning software that comes with my computer, which is roxio. I formatted the disk, copied all the files from the torrent, and after they were copied, I asked it to "make it compatible" which was supposed to allow me to play the DVD on any DVD player.

I tried to to play the DVD on my computer, and all that came up was the files from the torrent, non of which i could open, and my computer couldn't play the DVD. I tried it on 2 other DVD players at home, and they both showed an error message.

what did I do wrong?
any help or suggestions would be appreciated
thanks!

Gon, in order for a dvd to work on your dvd player your files all have to be in a VIDEO_TS directory on your dvd disk. Did you do that as well? Or did you just copy all the files in the directory directly to your dvd? It should be fairly simple. The downloaded files already are in a VIDEO_TS directory all ready to go for yea. Just simply copy the whole thing exactly as it is and it should work.

Try leaving out that very step. No need to fiddle with the files, they're exactly as they should be copied to the DVD in order to work.

hmmm... you should be able to view the .vob files on your computer ... the ones that are labelled as power dvd files. if you double click on one of them, will it open & play in whatever dvd playing software you have on your computer?

perhaps you are burning it as a data disc? rather, you need to burn it as dvd-video.
