Some of the online tab is a bit rubbish, and is quite incorrect in some instances.

Mind you, official tab can sometimes be a bit hit and miss, unless it's
actually written by the artists themselves (which it rarely is). I paid
"an arm and a leg" for a book of tab once, and the transcription was
awful. It was note for note, but the way in which they'd transferred it
to the guitar neck made it impossible to actually play at the proper
speed.

I saw the song in question played live, and I saw how the particular
guitarist in question played it. It was nothing at all like the tab
book. I would even venture as far as saying that the "official" tab
version was unplayable.

Thankfully Damo's stuff is quite simple, so there may not be as much of a problem.

I hope not anyway

Yeah, the official books are quite often wrong. Here's a quote from the foreword of a Supergrass book, presumably made by one of the band, probably Gaz seeing as he's the guitarist:

"These songs are notated by some boffin and may vary from the very lose knowledge of formal music notation used by Supergrass. This may create the impression that we employ these ten fret, arthritically challenged muso chords when performing, but nothing could be further from the truth. So, please use this book as a guide and not as a gospel. At least you can rip off someof the more interesting chords to impress your mates."
