wow thats great megan! my sister plays it, what would you like to know?i know the basics, like the strings E is the highest than A, D,G, umm i bet you can figure out how to hold the instrument itself, you should buy a bk, try EssentialElements for Strings if you can find it, most any beginnersbk should help you out on the basics. To hold the bow, put the right side of your right thumbnail on the grip and let your fingers naturally drap ove the sides, now put the nail of your little finger(pinky) on the stick .

and i know how to play twinkle twinkle, haha let me know if you need more help tres_chicadi@yahoo.com

thats if you buy really really really nicedominentstrings ronan

but the least price you would really look at forbasic cello strings are about $20-30 for a set of 4 strings

http://www.kennedyviolins.com/CelloStrings.html

if you ever make the choice to get a cello, look at the super-sensitive strings, i used those when i first startedEdited by: Krystian

i learnt the violin for eight years, lke most stringed instuments it takes a lot of practise as there aren't any frets to guide you. but play around with it by ear (thats how im learning my guitar)or if you really want get some lessons. keep it fun!!!
