Set List Suggestions Please
Hello everyone, hope you're all having a nice day.
I'm just looking for some suggestions for a setlist I'm trying to make. I've been offered a regular gig at a local pub but I need to increase the length of my set a little bit. Any suggestions have to be songs that won't take months to learn well and can be done by me and my guitar. Here's what I've got so far: Time Is Running Out (Muse) Insane (Damien Rice) Breakdown (Original) Hotel California (The Eagles) Older Chests (Damien Rice) Save Me (Remy Zero (smallville theme tune)) I'm alright (Stereophonics) The Professor (Damien Rice) Hallelujah (Jeff Buckleys version, not Lenoards) Crossroads (Don Mclean) Creep (Radiohead) Running You Down (Original) I Can't Stay (Original) I Need you (Original) I Remember (you) (Original - named before discovering Damiens song) Never Leave (Original) We're Not In Love (Original) Where's The Pain? (Original) With You (Original) These aren't in order, I'm just trying to get everything I could do written down. Another Potential is Ride On, by Christy Moore, but I can't find the song anywhere to learn the melody for the verses. Any suggestions or ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance, Ben. |

Stereophonics - Just Looking/Billy Davey's Daughter Bell X1 - Rocky Took A Lover/Slowset Radiohead - Last Flowers Til the Hospital/Karma Police Tom McRae - Silent Boulevard/Boy With The Bubblegun Del Amitri - Tell Her Counting Crows - Kid Things They're just some of the things I'd like to cover...you'll probably dismiss them all

mate! i know how to play ride on by christie moore! do u have guitar pro4? if not, i can just tab it normally?
i don't know how good a guitarist you are, because it's actually 2 guitars playing, so ur fingers will handle the picking and ur thumbs will have to deal with the lead line. unless also of course u use a loop pedal. either way i'm sure u could work out a version to play from the tab .

Lover, Should've Come Over - Jeff Buckley
Star Star/What Happens When The Heart Just Stops - The Frames. (That would be awsome, if you could medley them two!) Still Selling Shoes - Bell X1 Wickid Games - Chris Isack Apple Of My Eye - Damien Dempsey Night Blindness - David Gray The Professor ~ Babylon ~ Silly... ~ La Fille Danse - Damien Rice and David Gray! (lol! That would be class, sounds ace when Damien does it) Any Dire Straits (Brothers in Arms, is ace) Angel at My Table - The Frames! Dontt know if there the kind of songs you want, but i would love to see someone cover them!

(bad habit of mine) For some reason i can't work out how to attatch the GuitarPro4 file. i'll e-mail u it if u fancy.
