Feedback on song

Hey I had to make this song for my class i would love some feedback its on myspace.com/chrisgant and is called fire demo.

very impressed

really interesting style, interesting sound, interesting voice, interesting rhythms.

k... here's my personal feedback... you asked for it! haha...

- the instrumentation sounds a bit too disconnected... very interesting timing and composition but it just sounds almost too disconnected to get into... then it comes into almost a reggae beat with "hold on tight..." and the two just don't transition well for me...

- the effects on the vocals need to get tweaked for what i'm guessing is the chorus... a tad too loud and the last backup "fire" is def too loud... the first couple backup "fire" snippets are a good level but the last one pierces through too much...

- the bass sound a tad too fat... know what i mean?

- i think the recording could overall be improved if some serious mastering went into it... make everything punch a bit more and round out the eq on all tracks...

with all that said i think it definitely has potential... very interesting tune...

i listened to the wrong one, 'untitled', so this may not be much use.. but i loved it, its really good!
