and I donīt know why, but in my experience, Damo always puts much much much more effort in the LA shows relative to the SFO/Oakland area shows, not sure why... I went to all the Californian shows during the 9 tour and the Oakland shows were nice but kinda safe, never any surprise or rare song or unreleased, while the LA shows (Greek, Orpheum, El Rey) were much better and had far nicer set lists...

I donīt know maybe itīs cos the SFO shows are always first show on the tour. But clearly the show from LA yesterday is way better than the one 2 days before in SFO, at least for me.

or maybe Damien just read in here about our complains so clearly he checks EF every now and then

Nice changes! No matter what he plays when I see him live, I'm glad he's shaking it up. He's best when things feel organic rather than safe.

Thanks for posting Carroline! I will post videos on you tube when I go see Damien at The Box. That would be so awesome to be on stage with him and singing volcano.

If anyone finds a trusty and true video from last night please post

After talking to a couple people in line I decided to come sign up here. Told her I hadn't been here in years. I can't believe my login still works!
Also, I'm just guessing but maybe the reason the LA shows seem to be better is that his label is here and he has a lot more people/friends to impress?

He literally said "who wants to come on stage and help me with this one? I think we can fit about 40 people." and everyone ran up.

God, Trusty and True was SO good with a choir. Anyone know if that was the Silverlake Choir? All I kept thinking was "that's a lot of white people."

Here is The Box from last night (missed the first couple lines). Vimeo is stupid and this song reached my weekly upload capacity. Youtube is still not letting me upload anything. Guess I'll look into liveleak or something.

Uploading it to liveleak right now. It's 9 mins long and at 3% so it's gonna be a little while but I'll post it ASAP! **** this is so good. I'm getting chills.

Edit: I'm an idiot and as soon as it finished uploading just now, I accidentally went back a page instead of "adding it to my channel" or whatever. I've never used liveleak before. Silver lining - it doesn't take that long to upload. Second time and already at 15%. Almost there.

Great video Tess!! You had great seats. So happy that you saw a great show. Go post these over in the sub. I'm sure they'd love to see it too.

Patrick is that you? Hahha just posted The Box. Will post the other three as soon as I'm done. I have Trusty and True, My Favourite Faded Fantasy, and Volcano up until I went up on the stage. In hindsight I should have just kept filming the whole thing but I didn't want to be "that girl."
