That was an absolutely amazing show! My favorite part was definitely Long long way, love the transition between two instruments. And I'm so glad I got to meet even more eskimos last night!
A few eskimos and I stealthily snuck into some empty seats in the front two rows and were lucky enough to experience his music so close.

Sharing some of the pics I snapped

Great pix! Lol... I think that's the back of my big head in the first one, Amy... So glad that so many of us eskimos were able to sit near each other!

I was very happy to meet some eskimos before and after the show. Some new faces and some familiar ones. Most of use were able to occupy the first 2 rows of the of the Beacon without any problems. Upgrades are not hard if you find the right ways.

Dawno was sitting right next to me in the first row so any photos I post will do no justice. But I did take a little video of The Auld Triangle after the show.

Slightly off the topic, but is anyone going to go to the Scratcher tonight to see Mark Geary? Glen's said he's going, so I'm wondering if Damien will turn up too.

Wish I could... Casey, were you at the Glen show at the Scratcher on St. Pat's eve? Such a fun night.

Sadly no, I missed the memo! I've caught Mark at the Scratcher before and have had a good time, so I need to find my second wind to go out tonight. Just starting to feel the exhaustion from last nigh.

I'm still processing everything that went on last night...

I met up with so many of you Eskimos! And every single one of you guys were absolutely open-armed and amazing with your stories and your friendship! I consider all of you that I met very close friends because of what we've been through last night!

The actual show was amazing...what else can be said? But that was only a portion of what made April 4th 2015 the strangest, energized, most satisfying day of my life. I won't go in to the details of the actual show because it was documented and you can see all the greatness and live it on your own...

But you guys! I met up with Scott and gave him my extra ticket for his fiance. He could have just accepted the ticket and went on with life. But when he accepted that ticket, he accepted me and divulged me into everything that makes this igloo so warm.

Everyone I met last night was amazing. If I had just went myself like I was planning to do, I would not have sat 3 rows in front of Glen Hansard. I would not have met him and I would not have been able to tell him "thank you" which was basically all I could spout out of my dumb-founded mouth at the time...

This may not seem like a lot to some of you. But what makes this place great are stories like this which may fly under your radar. But be absolutely sure of how much you guys mean to people like me and how special of a place in my heart you hold.

Thank you all.

These stories are so great!! It sounds like an amazing night and I'm so glad you all had a great time. I agree with all the kind words said here of the NYC Eskimos; I've been the recipient of their kindness several times also.

I'm so happy it was such a memorable evening!!!

Thanks for all the kind words about NYC. But most of us aren't even from NYC, it is just a central place for Eskimos from around the area and even the world. Damo played a lot of shows here in the last few months and he brings good people together. Hopefully we will see more of this spirit in June in Brooklyn. Feel free to come up to and say hi !

Even though the images are blurry, I found the juxtaposition of these two amusing. The top one is of Damo just before Cheers Darlin' and the lower is right after Glen took the stage and spotted the glass of wine on the floor.

I also love how warm this place is. I think it's why I started posting here and it's definitely why I'm still hanging 'round.
And the Eskimos I've actually met, they're all amazing.
Can't wait to meet some of you again (and some of you for the first time) this summer!

I'm wondering if any of you who have gone to shows can tell me when My Bubba has been finishing their set, and when Damien has been hitting the stage?
