Congrats! Tried to get better seats (couldn't help myself), with no success. Pretty happy with row d tickets. Where were all the tickets for the first three rows at plymouth....?

Great minds think alike! Just rang them myself, told that the seats i have are right on the end of the left section Was hoping that they would be more central, oh well should still have good view.

i'm not sure - I'll have to call them again a minute and find out, because they weren't allocated at the time I bought them. I rang yesterday and they told me, but I can't remember the exact numbers. Back in a sec!

think your tickets maybe more central than mine. Did ask receptionist how many seats in a row , but forgotten what she said. Blame poor attention span on lack of breakfast!

Doh!!
I'm really really happy with my tickets in block C row D for Manchester Arena, but didn't realise they'd be releasing the front three rows this morning!!! I have to admit I'm slightly upset that I missed out on getting that bit closer to the stage, I would've just waited for the main ticket release if I'd known

I just thought I'd give it a go. My sister is really made up that she's getting my other tickets for free too, so I've gained a few brownie points and a lift to and from the gig

I don't think the touts will get anywhere with this your seeing as it doesn't look like it's going to sell out any time soon at most places. I hope they'll lose a fortune

Follow this link to see the seating plan http://www.plymouthpavilions.com/seatingplan.asp# and then click on seated concert layout. Looks like 2A, is right at the front, where all the eskimo's should be!! R x. |

Good question?
Got 4 tickets...wifey going to manchester gig.....(not a huge fan, so may not want to go again?!?!?), got a couple of friends who want to go, as they are big fans, and my sister is a huge fan, but she lives in Milton keynes...! Still, if I drink too much beer I may need all 4 seats to myself!!!!! (only joking....i'm not that big!! only size 6 & 4 stone (kate moss's brother!!!)) R x. |

Thanks for link ricicle. I'm not sure if its going to be exactly the same layout. Had a look to see what tickets were left and noticed that they were selling tickets for areas not on the seating layout. When i spoke to the receptionist at Pavilions she said that sometimes artists will often change the standard layout. I'm sure what ever the layout, we will all have pretty good seats.

First things first: Congratulations on getting such good seats. And yep, you were obviously right about it being a full house show... Which takes me onto the less positive part of my post sadly, because i'm getting more than a little annoyed when it comes to getting tickets for Damien's gigs right now. First with the Apollo i don't get any warning about there being a pre-sale despite having been on the official mailing list for a long time, and when i go to order tickets on the morning of them being "put on sale" i'm told the best i can order are at the back section due to most of the tickets having been sold in the pre-sale a day earlier (another Damien Rice fan on the forum i run with my girlfriend mentioned the tickets had been put on sale a day earlier than had been listed on the thursday evening, but after phoning around i was told that the only tickets they were selling were for downstairs, and standing isn't an option for me). So i lose out thanks to a complete lack of warning via official channels (just out of interest, did anyone get an email via the mailing list about the pre-sale for those first UK dates?). Fast-forward to now and i get an email about the pre-sale this time, but they then put better seats on sale the following morning? Talk about damned if you do and damned if you don't. To rub a little extra salt in the wound, the site i ordered the tickets from gave a description of the seats i ordered as being "third row from the front". Note the lack of the word 'block' on the end of that line. Since the only seating plan on the MEN website's list where that description would fit is the 'Half House' set up, you can see why i thought it was going to be that, rather than using the whole arena. So for the second time in a year i can look forward to watching a dot on the stage i guess. Not how i'd hoped my first ever Damien Rice concerts would be going down, i have to admit... |

I feel for you, I really, really do. I've had grief in the past getting tickets for all kinds of people and, being ill at the moment too, getting a decent place is an essential.
Where are your seats at the MEN now? |

They're block E, row D, seats 3 and 4. So if you look at the half house diagram on the MEN site, you'll see how i made the mistake given the ticket description on the Gigs and Tours ordering page. Oh well. At least i'll get to see him twice, rather than not at all. I just hope that people in the downstairs seats don't stand up much, as if i'd known the seats were half way back from the stage i'd have just immediately tried for seats on one of the tiers so i wouldn't have been left worrying about having to stand if i ever wanted to see the stage. I normally automatically go for upstairs seating anyway just be certain, but when i put 2 and 2 together...
Little did i know i'd come up with 5. |
