I got sorted for Dublin, got the confirmation email too.

Says seat allocations will be given out 4-6 weeks of purchase.

According to Twitter and Facebook lots of people have been charged for tickets without any confirmation they actually got them. It's a mess.

It'll get resolved. Credit Card company will protect you. But very annoying.

hehe, you made me laugh, simone... much appreciated after all this tension and concern

but i´m afraid it´s a little bit worse as i´m not working in ireland at the moment, i have several restrictions with my money from argentina and my irish back accout is almost empty
everything will be sorted... soon, i hope.

Sorry to hear that Ver! Hopefully they can resolve it before the funds are withdrawn.. EDIT* - If its a debit card the transaction is just pending, the money won't be released until purchase is confirmed so you should be okay..

It's really ridiculous for people who didn't even get tickets to be charged. Was reading on the facebook page people charged multiple times and got no tickets.

Really is a shambles of a ticket sale again and this is just the pre sale

Jon, check your bank. Payment might have gone through. I don't know if that means tickets are booked though... All will be revealed in time I guess.

You could consider selling your tickets.. Joking

Absolutely gutted at how this has turned out. I genuinely couldn't have tried any harder or been willing to rearrange my life any more to make it to the Dublin gig. No way am I going to try again on Friday - I give up.

I really hope the Americans have an easier ride but it's not looking good!

Got two tickets for Dublin. SO HAPPY!!!!
Got them ten minutes apart from each other
One is in the stalls and one in the Upper Section!

Got the confirmation emails and all!

That was too stressful...

No luck with Dublin either here. Same story, "down for maintenance" etc.
And I was only going for just 1 ticket.

I suppose, it was announced that "limited number of tickets" would be available, which may have not been understood properly, but also, not made clear properly.

From what I could see, there were maybe 2 or 300 tickets available for Dublin. The venue capacity is just 2,100, so i'm guessing, but maybe around 10 to 15% of the total tickets were available. Thats not a lot when compared to the huge demand.

I would suspect the Dublin venue will get a second gig(and other venues also, as there are gaps in the touring schedule), so were still in with a chance on Friday for the general onsale, or, at additional gigs which have yet to be announced.

It's a case of demand far exceeding supply, and there is nothing we can do about it.

For what its worth, there are hundreads of artist/band websites, who charge you to be in their fanclubs, and participate in ticket presales.

Okay folks, anyone who (like me) saw charges on their cards, but didn't get a confirmation email... We got no tickets I'm afraid.

The charges on my card were pre-authorisations only, the money was not taken and will be freed up in due course.

There is still the regular sale on Friday, so fingers crossed.
