LOL. Well this might one of the most random impromptu gigs I've heard of:

Quote:
Lisa Hannigan does Apple ‘In-Office’

While visiting a friend who works at the Apple offices on Regent Street on Wednesday, I was confronted by Lisa Hannigan (of Damien Rice fame) wandering into the office carrying a guitar. Accompanied by a bare bones percussionist and second acoustic she set up and started playing in the middle of the office, as Apple employees bustled around her making tea. Surprisingly, a few of the iWorkers seemed mildly irritated, as if they’d had their fill of enormously talented artists serenading them at their desks and just wanted to get on. After three songs Hannigan packed up, off to sound check for a sold out show at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire that night. The head honcho in the office thanked her rather lackadaisically, and made joked that in the ten minutes she’d been playing she’d miraculously jumped from 12th to 8th in the iTunes charts. It may not be far from the truth.

^^^Thanks Vyvrox!

Is London the only gig she didn't play Queen of Hearts!? what rotten luck.

How funny was My Pirate Disco though, with the microphone lead troubles.lol. Thought she handled that one very well.

Default Jape @Button Factory

Ok, this really doesn't have anything to do with the UK tour, but I didn't know where to post it and I didn't want to open a new thread...
Anyway, Lisa performed a song with Jape at Jape's Button Factory Gig...

and pics from here...

And you can read a short review of the gig from someone's blog...a few nice pics of Lisa as well.

Black Eyed Dog, thank you for the Oxford setlist and vyvrox thank you for sharing your photos, they're lovely and such a nice reminder of a wonderful evening. (I was in such a rush that evening and I didn't have my camera with me.)

Wow! Three new songs! ( I consider Brolly Beats still as a new song )
How where the other two new ones?...hope we get a recording of those at some stage. I would love to hear her play the mandolin...

Oh no, why no more stylophone in Keep It All? I loved it! Did she say why Una isn't playing it anymore?

Sounds like you had a great time at the concert!

yeah was a great gig! And I made another Hannigan convert. The guys are just having so much fun up on stage that you can't help but be drawn into everything they do, and it's all sounding so polished now. Union Chapel is just an amazing venue too.

No mention of the stylophone but Una did come on to play the mouthorgan-piano thingy instead... Was actually a really good version of the song (and its my least fave) and Lisa now rings bells in it near the end, which was a great little touch. It ended up being my mate's fave song of the night. I Don't Know was def the crowd pleaser though.

Can't remember much about Braille except that it has a funky little melodic riff on the xlyophone. Union Chapel was its 2nd/3rd playing in public. Passenger seems to be inspired by her time in the states and name-checks a lot of places over there.

Unfortunately my photos are rubbish but hopefully some other eskimo was there taking photos??

I can't stop listening to Brolly Beats - I love it! Has any one managed to decipher the lyrics?...I can't quite figure them all out...

just trying to convert FLAC files to have a listen but sounds like that encore song is "Passenger" as the first line mentions Chicago.

is the song number 5, actually, a new lisa´s song? cause the tune sounds so familiar to me, but maybe i´ve heard it before from another lisa´s gig... i´m a bit confused.
