This is a fantastic gig! Always loved his unbelievable power while playing solo. Sounds like he's in top form to me!
Edit: First time hearing "Animals" live too. Incredible how much it was enhanced in the studio but I definitely like it stripped down. Hearing "RT" solo for the first time also confirm lyrics were right which I'd always suspected beneath the rather noisy wall of amazing instrumentation. These "I Remember" and "Volcano" jams are epic!!!

Wow. I really like this. Made me a lot more positive about the new album. I spent too much time reading the thread about it not being too good. I'm hopefully getting it tomorrow.
Volcano in this session is ace. Nearly as good as one i have which is similar but has Lisa and i think says its from 96fm.

I love 9 Crimes again! Woooo!
He played it just how I wanted to hear it on the album, with the pained, self loathing second verse! |

thanks a lot Gicossthers... I missed the online show because I think it's started quite much earlier than it was supposed to do. I've just downloaded your files, I'll start listening!

Guys, there is a link earlier in the thread where you can stream it from the radio station too... those mp3s seem to take a while to load.

Totally agree with you there. 9 Crimes is a song which you have to include Lisa!

Sendspace really isn't working for me, it says 'no free slots'
Can anyone please upload these tracks somewhere else, like Cali's webspace or yousendit or something?: Quote:

1. Allow the page to load fully before you click the date. I need to do this on my Explorer. 2. Try holding 'shift' when you click the link. One of those should solve it for you.

This performance has been awesome! The only song I didn't find particularly interesting (I mean, he hasn't played it in a particular or new way) is delicate, the others are just priceless...both the new and the oldies, he seems able to reinvent them everytime he wants
Thanks again to ye guys who posted the songs Ste |

Can't help but be amazed with the Norwegians!!!!
This recording is priceless,...definitely brought elephant to a diferrent level --raw and very intense.
Also, i can't help but be amazed with how respectful the audience was...i mean, no chuckling at the "accidental babies" line, c'mon now that was amazing... Hooray for the Norwegians! I've always thought Japan as the best place ever to watch a concert, now Norway is no.2 on my list, and it's nearer too!

Spamlet, got a question for you,
In the distorted part of Elephant, do you really hear "I could be strong" in this live version? I hear something like "I could be true ?" |
