Do you guys realise that the vicar street tickets went on sale for three minutes in absolute secret yesterday (monday), the idea was that the people 'in the know' would get them without hassle, which means that somebody must have realised that the tickets were going to sell very fast and instead of warning people someone just buttered their own bread.

the kindly store manager in my local ticket outlet passed the good news on to me, i rang a freind in celtic note to confirm this high treason, and sure enough 'twas true... had i not a ticket i might have been destroyed from the inside out (as i'm sure you guys are) but being the owner of the aforementioned ticket, i was only sickened to the core of my basic humanity by the scummyness of the people at the top. Are you as disgusted as i?

*JARV READS THIS NEWS, THEN READS IT SOME MORE. HE DOESN'T LOOK PLEASED, IN FACT, HE LOOKS KIND OF..........UPSET*

People are gonna die!!! Didn't i say it!!Didn't i F**KIN say it--in an earlier post!! I said there must have been some sort of conspiracy!! F**K!!!

Not at all joking--this isn't fair, it's not right-this is just true fans being cheated. I bet those people "in the know" are just shameless scenesters!! or worse.........touts.(or associates of touts, who see a way of trying to make a pretty penny)

Some-one do something---i'm just a mess--i don't have the power

well i doubt they'd put them on sale for the benefit of touts, most likely for the people who are loosely connected to ticketmaster.

I was just talking to someone who got tickets on ticketmaster's website at 16.30 on Monday. It was a real hush hush operation.

I really really dont wanna piss anyone off-truly. I got tickets on the DRM website shop about 11.58 or dead on midday-Ticketmaster site just hung and timed out. I nearly scrubbed the DRM link too but on the last refresh it came up. No conspiracy-I am a small music promoter in the Isle of Man (www.triskelpromo.com) and will fly over especially and have to use hols from next year as its in the week but I would rather pay than get industry freebies thank you very much!

Road records got their allocation quite late after midday having been told there werent any after all for them due overwhelming demand. If they didall go in 6 mins then no wonder lots of pissed off bunnies.

Is there a fair way to dish tickets out-the scum touts will only get even more of them though I see some twat is already asking 80 euro each for them!! I may have a spare for the seated night but it will only go at face value (DRM kindly dont charge a fee ) ) so I will ensure a fan goes too.

Anyhow- I hope Damien is forgiven -you wouldnt want him to play the sh*tty old point anyhow!!??

What is the problem here?

Thats exactly how it should work. Damien's not the first to do it. David Gray does it, and Damien did it with all the US tickets.

I think it's awesome that instead of making tickets available to anyone who manages to click their mouse and have a credit card, the best seats go to those who are so tightly associated to the band.

But the tickets DIDN'T go to those tightly associated with the band - they went to people who work for Ticketmaster and their friends. The fans didn't even know about it.

How do you know who got the tickets?
