don't know the re-release date of O...

When he played in DC in december he talked about older chests for a little, he said that it was about basically how in todays world much of life is taken for granted and people don't pay any attention to the small beauties and joys that can be found. He said that he was over at his friends place and he had this beautiful old chest that was filled with tons of old great books but damien was sure that he hadn't take the time to read or appreciate any of them hence, "read me your favorite line." Further in the song he talks about how 'these kids they lost their graces' and 'stores with bigger names' which is about how things are changing in society.

Thats the best I can remeber his description as, i think its pretty close. Sorry to damien if i messed it up at all. but i do know he is singing about an actual chest. hope that helped

In Vicar Street Damien said the idea came to him when he visited his friends modern flat (apartment) overlooking Christchurch Cathederal in Dublin... Either way it's about how "they don't make it like that anymore".
