Default Info on that song Down?

Does anyone have any info on that song Down?

I kinda remember it's a Juniper song, can anyone confirm?

I'm surprised it's on the lyrics section... does that mean that Damien has played it solo? I don't have it on any bootlegs so I don't know...

It's a Juniper song which sadly never surfaced. Though of course Then Go annexed some of the lyrics at the end.

I knew the "I would die for you" part at the end of Down, but I always thought he was playing around, adding a bit of Then Go for fun...kinda like when he adds Child Dog to The professor

I didn't imagine that those lines were first part of Down and ended up in Then Go.

D'you know if Damien has ever played it solo??

No, if you listen to the early versions of Then Go, those lines aren't there. They were only added after he left Juniper and/or scrapped Down. I've never seen/heard of him doing it live.

him and Lisa have done it, with just Lisa on vocals. I only have the Juniper version though. Love it!

In some old boot I think there's a version of Lisa doing Lay me Down (which I think it's a Frames cover...don't kill me if it's not)... Hollie, I was wondering if that's what you mean...

Yes, Willy is a Joni Mitchell cover.

I'm pretty sure Down hasn't been played since the Juniper days, so perhaps Nine is confusing it with something else.

I think so!

One of them's definitely unlabeled (it was a random file sent by a friend) and the other's from a Glen Hansard show - 29.09.01 ("Leap", recorded in Cork, I think)

They're both of Lisa and Glen...

I just checked the one I had in mind... and it's also Glenn & Lisa at a Damien show...
