Did Damien write it? Is it some old French folk song?

Erm...

"Henceforth"=from this time forward.

Perhaps you got "hence" and "therefore" mixed somehow.

well, i don't know what the song means, not speaking french and all. apparently it's about sex then? i guess that makes sense following the professor. just sounded like maybe it was damo's take on some french song 'cause it has that bouncey un-damo-like feel to it. but it's nice to know that he wrote it, shows diversity

The girl dances when she plays with me and i think that i love them the times of silence, we cant speak, therefore when we are together the words are put on the small dodo

Ill test my French out...It was the first language I learned how to speak but when I moved from France to the statesat the age of 5 I seemed to forget most of it. And speaking it is so different than reading and writing it, but i have to know a good deal of French to communicate with my mother's side of the family. But Ill try and translate it to the best of my ability, which remember isnt good. I only have to try speaking french when im around family, and english has been my main language for over 12 years.

The girl dances when she plays with me and sometimes I thinkI like it The Silence, therefore,does not dare speak when we are together in the small sleep? (hm, im not sure what dodo means and ive heard it translated as sleep but im not positive if thats what it means.) The girl dances when she plays with me and rain (think damien might have meant to say La fille danse Quand elle joue avec moi en la pluie which is she dances when she plays with me in the rain.) She lacks me, Why? No, no this is the song, the night, the wind, love, the sounds from the small sleep??? Here it is again with out all of my annoying comments and the way I think it was supposed to be written.

No, no this is the song, the night, the wind, love, the sounds from the small slumber (Ill ask my mom if this is correct when she comes back in town in two or three days, she is actually in France visiting her brothers and sisters now)
