Default Damien in Grado (Italy) on July 25

It was announced today... and it looks like more dates will follow...
http://www.ninecrimes.it/2012/04/dam...certo-a-grado/

tickets:
http://gradofestival.it/20120725.asp

I don't know the venue but from the photos I'm finding it looks super cool... not sure if I'll be able to reach Grado (a small town in the middle of nowhere) without a car though

wait, there's actually a full mini-tour:

2012-07-25 "Grado Festival Ospiti d'Autore", Diga Nazario Sauro, Grado (Italy)
2012-07-27 "Ferrara Sotto Le Stelle", Cortile del Castello Estense, Ferrara (Italy)
2012-07-28 Cavea del Nuovo Teatro dell'Opera, Florence (Italy)
2012-07-30 Cavea dell'Auditorium Parco Della Musica, Rome (Italy)

plus, I heard he's adding dates in other European countries...

you should do Ferrara + Florence... it's easy to travel from Ferrara to Florence by train, plus it's a weekend...
the venue in Ferrara is super nice, he played there in front of the Castle in 2007 and the atmosphere was amazing, now he plays in the courtyard and it should be more intimate... not more than 300 people http://www.internazionale.it/wp-cont...0/bignardi.jpg

the venue in Florence is new, opened in February I think, but should be great too... and you'd get the chance to see the city a bit... you should think about it!

I wish he would find cool little spots like this in the states to play. Like the hideout in Chicago. If y'all have never been, please check it out if you're ever in town. It's glen hansard's and James vincent mcmorrow's favorite bar www.hideoutchicago.com

Thanks for the tip!

I wish he'd sneak over to Chicago as well, for similar reasons.

Vere & everybody,
Come you all to the Italian tour Ferrara & Firenze in 2 days is very do-able, 200 km away by train + it's gonna be all kinds of incredible and amazing Ferrara is this spectacular medieval city with a castle and walls and all and the concert is in a tiny room inside this castle. and Firenze is Firenze. <3

Grado is an amazing venue. I know it's more difficult than going to Ferrara or Firenze, but of all the Italian tour, Grado is the best location for sure...

vere, don't forget tickets go on sale in two days - April 26.
Ferrara's tickets are limited so make sure you get one when they go on sale.
Or we can buy one for you if you want...? Marti and I are buying it together so we save a bit on shipping. Shipping costs 10€ with ticketone.it so the more we are, the less we pay... drop me a pm if you want me to buy it for you!

Great Verena, I'm super happy that you're coming

If anyone here is interested in going to Grado, I know someone somewhere is setting up a bus from Milan to Grado (and back after the gig), so in case drop me a pm.

ps. can anyone edit the title of this thread? it's not just about grado anymore...

Wow. Posting this is just so mean to all those who can't make it.
Still very happy for you guys. I'm sure you'll have a blast.

He's playing Vienna as well on 11 July, so I'm anxiously waiting/hoping for some shows in Germany and/or Switzerland...

Are you also going elsewhere, or just Grado?
