a blog i wrote after the may 1st san diego show entitled 'standing ovation':

found 9 crimes in the paper on thursday
txted my friends to come out and play
bought 4 tickets on friday
14th row for the first of may
didn't want to go solo
didn't care either way
heard his first song from a friend
he dropped a cannonball on me in the end
so i sat in the 14th row w/tucker and his girlfriend
jumped to the 7th row and landed next to jordan's bestfriend
wasn't like other nights
cold
gloomy
slow
not for long though
tucker shouted out my name
damien caught it off the rain
and i was swept down the river and taken to the insane

it's not every night i get called on stage to rap a song
it's not every night i hear my name fly along
sung by the one i have listened to for so long
it's not every night i give my past away
it's not every night i get trapped and can't run away
it's not every night i get set free to say whatever i want to say
it's not every night i stand next to the one who has sung acrross the nation
it's not every night i see a standing ovation
it's not every night...but it was tonight

yessss... i am that girl, sorry i didn't explain...i am new to the internet friends forums etc...not quite up to speed on how it all works...but happy to be here
